Spent a week in a cozy cabin tucked away in the woods, and it was exactly the reset I needed. Peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature—waking up to the sound of birds and falling asleep under the stars felt like a dream. The cabin itself was warm, clean, and had all the essentials. Whether we were sitting by the fire, going on nearby hikes, or just enjoying the view on the porch, every moment felt grounding. No traffic, no stress—just stillness. Highly recommend if you’re looking to disconnect and recharge. Can’t wait to go back.

Mark is an extremely responsive host. The cottage was quaint and had exactly what we needed for our stay. It was clean, and he was proactive about communication with us as well as responsive when we had questions. The area has lots of great restaurants but is still safe and quiet. We will absolutely be back as I visit the area often. Five star review!

This peaceful oasis, located on a hill surrounded by woods, made for a lovely getaway. The guest house is tastefully decorated with meticulous attention to detail to make you feel spoiled. We were greeted and bid adieu by a lovable cat named Austin. Craig and Gerwin were present but never intrusive. The river sits across the road and there are plenty of trails, restaurants, shops, and art galleries within a short drive.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Firehouse. The house and location were so unique and the views were beautiful. Chris and his family provide many essential household items plus extras. Our daughters (ages 2 & 4) had a great time playing with the board games in the living room and climbing up the ladder to the loft in the bedroom. In the morning, my wife and I enjoyed coffee on the patio while the kids played with the provided outdoor toys on the lawn. They also loved taking walks to see the "baby Christmas trees." During the day we visited Knoebels Amusement Park (only a 20 minutes drive from the Firehouse). In the evening we enjoyed roasting marshmallows by the fire pit. We can't wait to return!

Great cozy cabin in a perfect spot for Catskills exploration. Super close to places to eat in Phoenicia and surrounding area. Easy to find just off a main road but far enough away to be quiet. Very pleased, would book again.

We had such a lovely weekend staying in this cozy cabin. The views of the river and ridge from the yard were beautiful and calming. We were able to have a late check out with ease! Definitely will be back to stay again!

Choosing to stay in Porter's container cabin was the best decision we could have made for our vacation. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We had daily visits from a beautiful deer, and countless butterflies. We chose to use this time to unplug, and really connect with each other, and we could not have chosen a better place to spend our time. We've missed the view from the front door every day since we've left, and we're already planning to come back next year. Thank you so much for having us.

This is our fifth stay at cabin 3 and we absolutely love it! Chris is super responsive and helpful. It's an absolute beautiful location with peaceful surroundings! Always so grateful to be able to stay at the cabins with our pups!

We had a great time, the cabin was perfect for our “minimoon” after our wedding. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was very clean and easy to work. Very happy with our stay!

Mark’s & Lori’s tiny house was perfect base to show my parents around the Catskills. I was very impressed by the attention to detail in the house - I noticed great little touches like a torch, headlamps, and insect repellant. They even had a little stationary draw in the kitchen. I personally loved the fresh coffee beans available for use by guests. The house is located a short 10 min drive from Woodstock village if you want to grab groceries or eat out. It’s worth nothing that while the bedrooms aren’t full height, my 70 and 75 year old parents were able to navigate the stairs and low ceiling just fine. I can’t wait to go back to Mark & Lori’s tiny but perfect house! ❤️

The view from the apartment was lovely. From the balcony, one could see the river and foothills. The apartment itself was spotless with a very comfortable bed. The location was great for accessing things to do. The only challenge was the wifi which was weak.

Such an awesome spot! BUT note this is a glampsite rather than a full house. The toilet is an outhouse (very clean, but make sure to duck to not hit your head), the shower is heated but it's outdoor, I didn't have soap or towels provided that I saw, and the bed is a tri-fold mattress that folds out onto the floor of the little A-frame. The wood fire hot tub was amazing, the fire pit is nice, there are two chairs included, parking is easy, there is good quality firewood here but bring something to light it with and start the burn. The sound of the running water is worth every penny. The cabin also is heated via some sort of gas, which does a great job and making the space feel cozy but I woke up with a pretty good sore throat. Not sure if that is a coincidence or if from the heater. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this place! Just make sure the less earthy people in your group are not expecting a hotel room/house.

What a beautiful spot with a welcoming host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We chose Caroline's place for the sauna, which was totally worth it. But the beauty of the night sky and coziness of the house added greatly. We would definitely come back!!

Everything was just lovely! We absolutely loved our stay at this peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing cottage. Kim and Matt were great hosts, they were thoughtful and made everything easy for us. Would definitely love to come again!

Pat, Kelly, Hannah, and Shahram were a great team. Each one checked in with us at some point during the stay. Kelly and Pat live on site and gave us a very friendly and welcoming wave as we pulled in. We were even greeted by their big goofy dog! The place was beautiful, they seemed to have thought of amenity we would need. Highlight was definitely having morning coffee by the river and seeing a pair of river otters (or minks) running by on the other side!

We only stayed for two nights but so wish we could have stayed longer! From checking in to the pristine home, that had been arranged beautifully for our arrival, to the spectacular location right in the forest, to the lovely details such as loose leaf tea and delicious whole coffee beans and grinder, everything was perfect! The house is cosy and feels high-end. The photos don't do it justice! The location is perfect, in a very quite spot a short drive to some fantastic walking trails in the state park and some great places to get food after a day's walking close by too! If we are ever back in this part of the world we will definitely be booking to stay here!

Cindy's place was magical. We are very familiar with the area and were happy to stay. Her place was adorable, love the tow path, restaurants and the bed was so comfortable! The shower was fantastic too! We come to visit our daughter often and would love to stay again. Cindy is a fabulous host!

This actually wasn’t our first time staying at Art Park, our first time was a while back and we stayed at the Stag Haus (which was AMAZING 😉). So we really weren’t surprised on how amazing the Sugar Shack was going to be! Heidi & Arts attention to detail, and meeting the essence of unique never ceases to amaze us. From detailed check-in, to little things such as making sure there’s snacks & other refreshments being ready, and to her prompt messaging & sending thorough info on things to do around … talk about a super host 🤭 Heidi gave us a tour of the newest addition (The Hitching Post), and Blush … and boy were we blown away. Thank you again Heidi, we truly enjoyed getting to know about each listing and basking in each of its own unique design. (let me know when Art starts selling tables hehe 😉) My husband and I, have made it our mission to stay at each listing so we’re so excited for our next stay. And we hope you do too!!!! A great place to stay and explore the local area. It was small but had everything that we might need, including a kettle which was very handy. The decor was tasteful and the bed was really comfortable. Nick and Kelly communicated well, and check in was very easy. The only thing that we had an issue with was the shower as the hot water took a very long time to run through. The second morning we ran it for longer as advised but it still wasn't really hot enough for me. A small niggle - overall we really enjoyed our stay.

I had an amazing stay!! This was my first time to PA, and I was not disappointed. Sarah's cottage was picture perfect. I loved the outside space so much. The inside was decorated so lovely and I felt right at home. I didn't get a chance to feed the sheep which bums me out but I was gone a lot. Next time for sure! Thank you so much!

Spent 2 nights in the farm cottage and had such a lovely time surrounded by the chickens and pigs! The cottage was very clean and had all the essentials for a weekend away. It was delightful to spend time outside and watch the happenings of the farm. The cottage is right in the mix with the other elements of the farm yet still felt private. We loved sitting by the fire pit watching the chickens do their thing. Brian answered all my questions promptly and were flexible with check in/out. Highly recommend!
