Monthly Rentals in De Veenhoop

The place was impeccably clean and lovely. We had three very relaxing days. In the house you will find everything that is necessary. A supermarket with fresh rolls is about 15 minutes away. The landlords live on the same premises and take very attentive care of everything that is needed. It is very pleasant to sit on the terrace, have breakfast or talk. When the weather is nice, you can watch a lot of birds and hear the frogs in the evening. We can highly recommend t‘Veenhuys.

Very nice and well-kept apartment, beautiful location on the water and walking distance to restaurants and supermarket. We had a few wonderful days in the beautiful area.

Lammert and Corina and fantastic hosts, they were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. The cabin is in a perfect location, overlooking fields and the canal but also walking distance into the town. We felt so relaxed there and would love to come back one day!

A very nice compact, clean and comfortable cottage. Nice beds, good sofa, nice spacious shower and the kitchen has everything you need. Sybren is a top host, tea and coffee were ready and eggs in the fridge, you can also feed the chickens yourself. Beautiful surroundings to relax, cycle or walk or read a book. We would have liked to stay longer! Beautiful nature in the area for walking. We found Drachten a bit disappointing but recommend Beetsterzwaag for a visit!
