Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Costa Rica

Dans l'ensemble c'est bien. Confortable. Le plancher du passage est plus haut que toutes les autres pièces. Donc il y a une marche à monter ou descendre à chaque pièce. Bon à savoir pour ceux qui ont de la difficulté avec les marches. Nous aurions apprécié un ventilateur avec l'air conditionné ça devient trop froid et sans trop chaud.

From the moment we booked Vanessa was very responsive & knowledgeable. She was able to provide all the insight we needed to make our trip a memorable one. She went out of her way to make sure she was there when we checked in which was really nice & caring. She checked in with us via chat during our stay to make sure everything was going smooth. The view & villa were spectacular and all we needed as a couple to be able to rest & relax. If your a big beach person def recommend checking out Playa Cochal, a short commute from the villa. Sin duda alguna la joya del lugar es la vista, es imponente durante el día cautivadora durante la noche, la cama es extremadamente cómoda, el baño es limpio moderno y agradable. El lugar cuenta con Wi-Fi estable y está cerca de varios restaurantes, definitivamente pienso volver, es un lugar excelente para descansar de la ciudad y conectar con la naturaleza o para una cita romántica.

Very spacious, clean and cozy apartment. Jason had a very helpful pdf to guide you to the Location as well as through the Check-in which helped me find it without a Navigation System. Jason replied very quickly and Kind. I had a wonderful time there and can highly recommend.

Yesenia und ihr Sohn sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Wir wurden bei unserer Ankunft herzlich von ihrem Sohn empfangen und haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt. Die Unterkunft entsprach genau den Fotos und der Beschreibung – alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt war alles Nötige vorhanden. Die Lage ist zwar etwas außerhalb des Zentrums, dafür aber angenehm ruhig. Mit dem eigenen Auto war alles gut erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Todo muy bien, estuvimos en la habitación de arriba del bar. Increíbles vistas y muy buena ubicación. Marta y Saul dispuestos a ayudar. La cocina muy completa en cuanto a utensilios. Hubiese estado bueno que tenga sal, condimentos y aceite. Lo único que fue para mejorar es que no entendimos como se manejaban en cuanto al orden y atención. Nos quedamos 4 noches, la primera nos cambiaron toallas, limpiaron e hicieron la cama. A la segunda, nos cambiaron las toallas solamente. A la tercera ya no nos cambiaron más nada ni sacaron la basura, el cuarto día ya no teníamos papel higiénico. No fue nada grave de todas formas y es super recomendable el lugar!

Buenas relación precio / calidad, el lugar es básico pero cómodo para descansar, cuenta con agua caliente, un baño decente y limpio, un frigobar, TV. La entrada y salida es totalmente independiente; con tu código de la puerta. Está cómo a 10 cuadras del centro por lo que pueden caminar, tomar el bus o un taxi(te deja a 1 cuadra), hay un super a 100mts para que hagas compras. El anfitrión es muy amable y te orienta para moverte en la ciudad.

We stayed for 6 nights and truly enjoyed ourselves. The hosts were quick to respond with any questions. It’s a very peaceful area but still a 5 minute walk to anything you need. The backyard pool was amazing for my kids. There is the Arenal Sanctuary Reserve a short walk past the house, we saw so many frogs and it’s a nice easy walk with breathtaking views. The house itself was clean and comfortable with just enough that you could still cook at home if you needed, we did most days. There are so many sodas and restaurants within walking distance as was the main grocery store. We fell in love with this area and would definitely stay here again.

Excelente lugar, lindas vistas y una playa hermosa. Nos sentimos como en casa, el lugar muy tranquilo, perfecto para una escapada de la rutina diaria. Recomendado

El alojamiento fué increíble. Muy limpio, espacioso, con un menaje bastante amplio, una piscina y terraza grande. La casa de Maud tiene por otro lado una energía muy sobresaliente, cada rincón tiene una bonita energía que no dan ganas de salir de ella.

From the moment we arrived, this home had such a beautiful, welcoming, home-y feeling. It’s located in a fantastic area—surrounded by great restaurants and plenty of things to do. The pool was warm, clean, and incredibly refreshing—perfect for relaxing after a day out. The host was amazing! She went above and beyond, offering personalized restaurant recommendations (we tried several and loved them) and sharing tons of helpful details about local excursions and activities. She even offered to help us book them! While we only had time for the 90-minute massage (which was wonderful), we could tell she really knows her stuff and is passionate about making her guests’ stay unforgettable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing, well-located getaway with an exceptional host. We’d definitely stay again! 🌴✨

We stayed for four days and had the most amazing time. I had tears in my eyes saying goodbye to Emerita. She and Diogenes were wonderful hosts who helped us with any questions and pointed out a baby sloth that we never would have seen without her pointing it out. It’s truly a magical place, Déborah. Thank you for your timely responses, accurate description, and recommendations. For those considering—know thyself! If you freak out over bugs, this isn’t the place for you. It’s Pura Vida. My son, daughter , and I loved everything! Morning Mother’s Day walk solo on the beach was perfection. We will return!!!!

Such an amazing oasis! Lori was such an amazing host. She walked us around the property and was always available. We woke up to howler monkeys and toucans. The home was clean and well equipped! Perfect for two couples! We will definitely be back to visit!

Cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. From arrival to departure we felt at home. Questions were answered immediately and our host was extremely proactive in finding or sourcing items we needed. Highly recommend their recommendation for an ATV rental, we were thrilled at having this at the place with us and made getting into town a breeze! We felt incredibly safe and everything we needed was a short distance. The house is exceptionally private and well furnished. The pool is pristine and again, the hosts are just top notch. I’ve stayed at many airbnbs and never have had such a seamless level of communication. Thank you so much for making this such a memorable trip for my family. I cannot wait to return!

Todo estuvo bien, solo el pequeño detalle que nos molestó en tema de salud, que en las instalaciones se permite fumar y el olor es bastante incómodo y desagradable tanto en la piscina como en el apartamento. Sin embargo Priscila estuvo atenta a darnos respuestas en todo momento.

Me encantó el lugar y superó todas las expectativas. Steven es un gran anfitrion, amable, atento y con disposición para ayudar. Definitivamente me hospedaría nuevamente acá.

Max and Audrey were great host. I’ve stayed in this area many times at different airbnbs and this place is one of the nicest you’ll find. Extremely clean and well kept. It is also close in proximity to many restaurants, a mini market, and the beaches. Highly recommend and hope to be able to visit Max and Audrey again soon!

La casa de Marlene es tal cual se ve en las fotos, todo estaba impecable. disfrutamos mucho la piscina climatizada, la jardinería del complejo es hermosa. sin duda volveremos.

Eduardo is a great host and very attentive. The location is simply the best and the building comes with a beautiful pool gym , sauna and steam room which was very important for me. The location is simply the best you’re in the middle of escazu , and everything is in the area. Thank you Eduardo I hope to be back soon.

Highly recommended! Cristian is the Most lovely host I have ever met! The room was superb and the view on the vulcano was nice.
