Our family has a wonderful stay at Ulfran’s! Ulfran cut down coconuts for our family and taught us how to open them. The property is beautiful and filled with birds and monkeys. We loved being woken up by howler monkeys every morning! The location was very close to many activities… Sloth’s paradise down the road was the highlight of our trip! We saw frogs, eyelash viper snakes and sloths up close and in their natural habitat (not a zoo or caged area - completely natural).

The house was just as described! Plenty of space for our large family! The grounds and house were immaculate. The view and the sunset were amazing! Just secluded enough to feel private and yet very close to the marina for excursions and beach! We would definitely come back. Ricardo was very helpful from the beginning and helped with any and everything we asked

This is our second stay at Lila's amazing property. We love it and are already planning our third trip! Hot tips for this place: it is rural. Get a good 4x4 to get here. It makes the trip so much smoother. Land Cruiser Prados are the way to go. I would not recommend cheaping out on the 4wd. I'd also suggest a Costa Rica eSIM for your cell phone. Coverage is spotty, at best. The beach is INSANE. If you do get here, and see its beauty, please keep it a secret! :) Lila's place is perfect. It has everything you need, and a bit more. It is truly an oasis. Lila is a wonderful communicator. Despite you feeling like you are at the end of the world, she's always there to help, and her local team are amazing. They show up and take care of anything immediately. Download a roadmap on your phone. Trust the local restaurants (El Barco and San Miguel are amazing). This area is sensational, and Lila makes it comfy, safe, and so satisfying! Thank you again, Lila!

A great stay with my family. The home was beautiful and had a cozy vibe. San Carlos is one of my favorite areas of Costa Rica and Ileana was very kind. I definitely recommend this listening!

WONDERFUL hidden gem! We loved our stay, Frederica and her husband and so welcoming. The property is centrally located, and once you step inside it’s is truly a private oasis. We stayed in the “Fuego” room and it match the description and pictures very well. Great water pressure in shower! Spent most of our time on our porch and enjoyed the pool for a refreshing cool down. Every morning I walked to the beach for a quick swim, returned for a wonderful yoga session, followed by a beautiful breakfast. Quiet, restful and relaxed stay in Sámara. Thank you! 🙏

This was my second stay in Gustavo's place. Gustavo is an amazing host, and one of the best hosts that I've experienced on Airbnb. He is very responsive, and provides many toiletries that other places did not provide. The apartment is big, clean and has an amazing view. The apartment is in a good location and has many things that are walkable. I would definitely stay in Gustavo's place again.

The apartment has all the comforts to spend a stay in Tamarindo. It is located next to the Sofía Restaurant which is a great alternative to go. The location is undoubtedly very convenient since it is 100 meters walking from Playa Tamarindo and very close to Playa Langosta. Communication with the owners was very prompt and they were always available. Even to give us some extra details for the house. Recommended for both a short or longer stay. This property was beautiful and clean, I loved the back porch with the pool and ocean view. The location was easy to get to, and the property was securely gated with plenty of parking space. The inside is gorgeous with a well equipped kitchen, very spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and a big living room area. A big plus was that we had access to the Crocs hotel next door, with access to all the pools and restaurants. We especially loved seeing the macaws all around the property! Would highly recommend staying here if you are going to vacation in this area.

Great place, great host. Upon arrival by boat, we were received directly and everything necessary was explained. Requests were responded to and helped quickly. Very clean space with smart TV, coffee maker, fridge (very clean) and great bathroom. Very cozy bed overlooking the lagoon. In the morning (5.30 am) you can hear howler monkeys. The place is about 15 min from the center, the path can be found very intuitively. All in all highly recommended and great host 👍👍

Great AirBnB room in a hotel complex. Very great and large balcony with great views over the garden and the sea. In the middle of animals and wonderful vegetation. Great hotel trails and very nice pool area. Very good food and friendly staff. Very quick response to questions and very helpful hints. Highly recommended !

Outstanding stay in every possible way. Sue and Joe have created an oasis in the jungle. The lodging itself is beautiful and matched the photos but what sets Southern Drakes Lodge apart is the service. We are a family of 5 and never have we felt so taken care of in all our travels. From the moment we booked to when it was time to depart, Sue and Joe took care of every detail from taxis, laundry, tours (thank you Elsa!), amazing meals (Thai and Ellie prepared breakfast and dinner that were as beautiful as they were delicious). Five days was not enough but we all left with a sense of gratitude that we were able to experience the OSA peninsula and stay in such a special place with amazing hosts.

A unique opportunity to stay in a rustic cabin within walking distance of a private beach on the property. Abundant wildlife on the property including monkeys. The bioluminescence tour was the highlight.

Really nice spot. Super friendly couple. Had awesome chats every morning. I was so burned out from life and Kris was on top of the suggestions. The combination of a peaceful place to stay and having someone support my agenda really made for a nice vacation. Also loved the feel of the home and the earthen floors which made me feel hugged and cozy. Thanks again!!

I really liked the place, the people who take care of you are very friendly and warm welcome. The restaurant is delicious, everything they prepare is seen to do with love and the food is very traditional. The room is nice, it has enough blankets and has a super cute balcony that overlooks a garden.

Ruth and Andrea are absolutely wonderful hosts, very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and activities. The bed is super comfy, and you get to wake up with a breathtaking view. It’s one of the highlights of our trip! I hope to be back one day!

Dalia was so nice and gave us a warm welcome. We felt like family! There was another woman there that was also extremely nice. The breakfast was perfect! Great pitstop 20 minutes away from the airport. We ordered an uber to the airport and it was nice and easy. If we need a spot near the airport in the future we will definitely be back here! Edward and his family provide a lovely apartment close to the airport. We were exhausted after a full day of travel and it was amazing to have such a clean and welcoming space to spend the night. Edward was so kind and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, even offering breakfast prepared from scratch. He and his family were wonderful hosts and we'd be happy to stay again!

Great place to stay, close to airport. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. Very friendly host, Edwin even offered to drive me to the airport at 4 am! I was there only for one night. The room is spacious with a large and very comfortable bed / mattress. Big bathroom with everything you need. All was meticulously clean, and welcoming. I used the jacuzzi to relax. I would stay here again!

I stayed at Joe's place for 1 month while I took a class. It was a perfect place to come "home" to every day. The mornings spend drinking coffee on the upstairs balcony watching the squirrels eat the maturing mangos was my favorite part of the day. The surrounding gardens were beautiful. The area was very walkable and felt safe. A short walk to the beach and local restaurants. Did I mention the mangos!!!
