Very quiet and peaceful. Convenient location for anyone with activities at the University. Price was very reasonable, especially given the accommodations. Stayed two nights, but suitable for longer stay as well.

Great place to stay short term in Charlottesville. Bryan was a great host and went out of his way to make me feel comfortable.

We visited for my husband’s alumni weekend and had a packed itinerary of hikes and tours, so it was such a gift to come home to this peaceful garden retreat. The screened-in porch was our favorite spot—perfect for unwinding and soaking in the Charlottesville views. The space was also comfortable and amenable to our two young kids, making it an easy and relaxing stay for the whole family.

A perfect getaway (and writing retreat). Close to trails (like Ivy Creek Preserve) and grocery stores/shops but still nestled away. I hope to come back. I thought it'd be awkward to wash dishes in the bathroom but it was set up so well. I've stayed at a lot of places and this is one of my faves.
