Romantic cottage for 2 with wood fired hot tub

RuthRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Wow we loved this place so so much! Firstly it was within the most peaceful setting you could imagine. Sitting out in the garden was so serene, and the wood fired hot tub was a fun bonus! Inside was immaculate, so cosy and homely! Absolutely everything you might think you need was supplied! The upstairs bedroom/bathroom was dreamy! Surrounded by lovely walks (the coastal footpath was only 5 minutes walk away) and close by to some gorgeous Devonshire villages/towns, I genuinely couldn’t fault this property! Hopefully we will be back soon! ā˜ŗļø

Keepers Cottage - Dartmouth Golf and Spa

LisaRating, 5 stars22 months ago
We had a wonderful time at our stay. The house was very comfortable and clean. The house is located on high level- so not very suitable for wheel chair users or people with walking problems. The bedrooms both had en suits which both were lovely (both upstairs with no downstairs toilet). The kitchen was well equipped. The location was also very good with places to visit - a car is needed. There is a good size private outside patio to use with good quality garden furniture. With an additional grass section in front -children to play The big bonus was the access to the swimming pool . steam room , sauna & jacuzzi throughout your stay. The whole family really enjoyed it- you need to bring your own towels as they do not supply the towels unless you are staying in the golf club hotel. The Golf club has a bar and Resturant to get food and drink. The golf course was especially good. Very well maintained with beautiful views. Not expensive to hire and play. We would love to return.

Cramwell Cottage, The Ley Arms

LauraRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Beautiful cottage with cosy but striking decor, really comfortable and cosy. Perfect for the six of us. Kitchen had everything we needed to prep a roast and the garden was small but perfectly formed. The local pub was a stones throw through a pretty village, with a really delicious menu. Only downside was no local shop for a pint of milk, loaf or emergency crisps. But I guess that may be tricky to sustain in second home areas. All in all a really comfortable cottage - thank you x

Garden View Cottage @ Brooklands Farm Cottages

TamsynRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Katharyn and Ben were amazing hosts. Really friendly and helpful, the property is full of character, comfortable and with everything you need for a quiet country getaway. We loved sitting in the garden room at breakfast time and chilling in the hot tub in the evening sunshine. The beautiful beach of Beer, and the pretty fishing villages along the coast are no more than a 30 min drive away so it's a great place to base yourself for some exploring too. A wonderful find and highly recommended! Thank you!

Dunstone Cottage

TanyaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
What an amazing stay! It was everything we were hoping for and more. The cottage had everything we needed and also some nice personal touches too. It was so relaxing sitting in the hot tub, listening and watching the birds . The weather was a little unsettled for us but not a problem, as we could sit in the summer house, and look out at the lovely view and our neighbours the sheep! Claire was very responsive with messaging and will look forward to visiting again soon. šŸ™‚

Booked for a surprise birthday treat for my wife, when we arrived she was over the moon! Beautiful house, private garden with hot tub. Everything you need throughout & the most comfortable bed! Lovely treats of Prosecco & freshly baked bread on arrival, great touch! Alison & Jeremy were really friendly, responding quickly with any request. If the grandparents will take the kids again for a few nights we’ll definitely be back!

Butterdon-Dartmoor Cottage sleeps 5

EmRating, 5 stars2 months ago
What a brilliant gem of a place. We loved our stay here. Vicky and Gavin were both very helpful. The accommodation was perfect. Lovely little touches like the fire was set for us arriving were much appreciated. The garden was beautiful and full of birds. The house was spotless. The little lake a 5 min walk away was stunning and we would have swam there if it was slightly warmer weather. It was so peaceful. The walk to the Fingle Bridge Inn was stunning. Full of wildlife all the way. It was a perfect break for us, and we were so sad to leave. We loved this part of Devon and will be back. Thank you šŸ™

Pretty Thatched Cottage in the heart of Devon.

MaryRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Thyme cottage was such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The cottage is characterful and comfortable and well equipped. The fireplace was a wonderful, warm touch. The village of Woodbury Salterton is charming and friendly and close to Exeter. The Diggers Rest is a must! Stop in for a friendly pint or even better for a meal. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. Thyme cottage will be among our top stays.

The Nook was a lovely cottage right in the centre of town close to all amenities, it was also quiet, the cottage had everything in it that you could wish for and the thought that has gone into it is exceptional especially regarding dogs. We were so grateful that Tania was able to accommodate us at very short notice. We will definitely be returning

Beautifully Renovated Blackberry Cottage

Kimberley Ann MarieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
BlackBerry cottage is a must stay. From the day we booked Andrea was super responsive and made us feel welcome before we even arrived. Check in was easy and Andrea met us at the property. Not only was the location idyllic but the accommodation was clean, comfortable and had a wow factor. We loved cooking in the kitchen which has everything you need for whatever you decide to cook. Both bedrooms were super comfortable and the bathroom done to a high standard. Felt like a boutique hotel. Our dog also joined us and he was very happy with the stone floors throughout the ground floor, dog bowls and enclosed garden and patio. We really enjoyed reading and drinking a coffee with the patio doors open taking in the Devon landscapes. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay again. Thank you again Andrea.

We really enjoyed our stay! Went with our little dog and grandparents, it was the most peaceful week that was very much needed before a crazy farmer summer! We loved that Piers recommended things to us when we said where we were going! Really great place and everything was perfect.

Yonder Shippon, Widecombe in the Moor Dartmoor

DomRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Wanted to come back as soon as we left! The cottage and its surrounding areas are absolutely stunning. Perfect for a relaxing getaway and a change of scenery. We were given a lovely recommendation for the Rugglestone Inn which we absolutely loved! Easy access to the moor and nearby village of Widecombe. The cottage is fully equipped with everything we could ever need. Not to mention its log fire which brought the whole place together as well as its comfy bed! We will be returning at some point in the near future! Can’t get enough of the place!

Tranquil 2 bed cottage Sidmouth, rural escape

StephenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What an absolute gem. Tucked away down a quiet country lane and within easy walking distance of a beach this place was an absolute delight to stay in. Check in was a breeze and we found the property to be clean and well equipped, matching its online description perfectly. The property had a lovely garden with seating and was only a ten minute walk from Sidmouth donkey sanctuary. The property came with a useful information book with recommendations for places to eat which we used. A number of other well known south Devon coastal towns were only a short drive away and the property was only 30 minutes drive from Lyme Regis and the Jurassic coast. Thoroughly recommend this wonderful property. Thank you Linda for a lovely stay.

Bolthole: Cosy studio, garden, fantastic location!

CorinneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This bijou, well styled apartment was a delight to call home for a couple of days. Matt gives very clear instructions in the days just before your stay. I must admit I was initially a little confused when booking because the description states '2 beds' whereas there is just the one. Once there the photos all make sense. It is very compact but has all you need for a fabulous stay by the beautiful Dart. Our intention is to go back ASAP and hopefully stay longer!

'Little Timbers' private self-contained studio

LewisRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Little Timbers is a wonderful retreat in the gorgeous village of Coffinswell. The accommodation provided everything we needed and more, and was very comfortable indeed. Tim and Chrissie are fantastic hosts, respectful of their guests privacy but always on hand for any questions and smiling faces when you see them in the garden. If ever we are back in the area, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. top tip: book the Linny Inn (a short walk up the road) for dinner: you won't regret it!

"STOOP CELLARS COTTAGE" Escape, Relax, Enjoy

JaneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Stoops cottage is stunning and the grounds were beautiful. The house was spotlessly clean and the sofa and beds were really comfortable. Everything is of a high standard and quality, and there was everything there that we needed. Julie came out to welcome us and was so friendly. We called on her for medical advice whilst we were there and she was really helpful, looking up information and also checking in later. We were concerned about the narrow roads that others had mentioned but there are plenty of passing bays so it wasn’t a problem and I would definitely stay there again. Absolutely loved it !!

Cottage in beautiful Babbacombe Bay

KellyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A lovely, homely cottage. Clean, spacious and beautifully presented with a private parking space and garden. The bed was very comfortable which is a must to get a good nights sleep after a busy day exploring the sights or relaxing on the beach. The cottage is in a great location. It was very easy to find and within a short walk from bars , restaurants, local shops, the Model Village and more importantly the beach. At one end of the street is a bus stop, for £3 you can go to Torquay Harbour. We caught the ferry to Brixham for the day. So much to see and do. We highly recommend a visit to Greenway, the holiday home of Agatha Christie and also a trip on the Round Robin. We booked this at Torquay Harbour. It's great value and includes a bus from Paignton to Totnes, a ferry on the River Dart to Dartmouth then a steam train back to Paignton. All in all we had a wonderful holiday and would like to return, not only to Torquay but also St George Cottage.

Fledgling Barn: stunning new coastal holiday home

SophieRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Swallows Nest. Lucia and Dan met us on arrival and also left a card and bottle of bubbly for my birthday which I thought was very kind. We have a four year old and one year old so it’s not always easy finding somewhere suitable but Lucia kindly set up a cot for us and supplied a high chair. The upstairs is open plan with a gate across the stairs so very safe for our baby crawling. Our four year old absolutely loved being on a farm and going to collect fresh milk from over the road. It’s so peaceful day and night. It was our first time in this part of Devon and we were blown away by the landscape, pretty little villages and many beaches in such lovely unspoilt settings. We would love to stay again!

Berry Head Farm Cottage

AnnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The cottage was ideal for our stay in Brixham. A parking space was a great bonus. Gemma had thought of everything we may have needed for our stay with lots of added extras. This was much appreciated. We were spoiled for choice of DVD and the outside space, which we shared only with pigeons and a partridge (?) was most impressive. We would definitely recommend Gemma's place.
