Holiday rentals with breakfast in Clarence

Bev and Andy’s apartment was fabulous, lived up to our expectations and the photographs. The bed was super comfy. The bathroom was fantastic with a great shower, we didn’t get around to trying the Jacuzzi bath, but it looked great! We walked to the restaurants in Kaikoura in less than 10 minutes. We loved Kaikoura, the coast is beautiful- just like the rest of New Zealand! Thank you Bev for a great stay .

My partner stayed there while on a solo fly fishing trip. Perfect place to base himself and a lovely spot to come back to after a day on the river. He’ll be going there again.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful countryside house. Traveling with our five-month-old baby, we were looking for a peaceful, quiet place away from any noise — and this was absolutely perfect. The house and rooms were extremely clean, making us feel just like we were at home. Colleen and Gile were exceptional — welcoming us warmly with flexible check-in arrangements, and showing great understanding of our need for privacy with a little one. We truly appreciated the calm environment and the comfort offered. Our morning conversation over breakfast was delightful and made our stay even more memorable. The location is ideal too — just about an hour’s scenic drive from Hanmer Springs. If you’re looking to enjoy the activities at Hanmer and then retreat to a peaceful, restful night surrounded by nature, this is the perfect spot. From here, you can easily head back to Christchurch or return for another day at Hanmer. Highly recommend this beautiful place and its amazing hosts!

The place was very nice and tidy. Stephen went the extra mile with providing additional food for us. The view at night of the stars in the sky was so amazing also. Something you don’t see in the cities. Definitely worth staying here if you love to get away for everything.

Very nice place by the sea and close to town center. Really enjoyed spinning some yarns with Patrick over breakfast.

Warm and welcoming, Ted and Sue exceed all expectations in every way. They are kind , thoughtful, offered to do our laundry (!), gave us great recommendations, had all the basics and more in the room, a very impressive breakfast delivered at the time of your choosing, and so much more! The house is spectacular, in a great location with super nice hikes all around. The room has an amazing view of the ocean and is very comfortable. They are a delight, the place is amazing and we couldn’t recommend it higher.

What a wonderful stay. So quiet. Right on the road, and the front bedrooms. Ann and her husband were a joy, spent quite a while chatting with them, and nice home cooked muffins in the morning. Not a lockbox-and-gone kind of place! Nice cat too.

Lovely stay at Jennifer’s place, very clean, cosy and an amazing view! Also she kindly set out breakfast a little earlier as we had a tour booked which was so kind! The doggies are super cute too :)

The place is ok. It is like a big house with many rooms divided into airbnb rooms. So, you have a kitchen and living room available and the rooms going into the corridors. It is close enough to town (although I wouldn't walk there when it is dark) and the neighbourhood is quiet - what seems to be a newly built home state

Ruth and Brian's hospitality was second to none, as was their lovely apartment. Roomy, light filled and generously provisioned, Villy and I took advantage of the twin rooms to take a break from each others snoring. Super comfortable beds made a 10 hour sleep, bliss. We felt as comfortable as possible at Ruth, Brian's and BG's lovely home. Thanks folks.

David and Tammy were very welcoming and a pleasure to stay with! Their homemade breakfast of egg scramble and sourdough toast was delicious and it was nice to have a morning chat with them. The bedroom space was comfortable and cozy. The Alpine Lodge was a great recommendation by David and Tammy for dinner. We were very pleased with our stay and would happily stay with them again if we are back in St. Arnaud!

love the house so much. Pet friendly and service was great. Will definitely recommend.
