Fiona was so welcoming and friendly. The apartment is absolutely gorgeous - just as in the photos. A really special and beautiful home in the most amazing location - literally across the road from the beach. The apartment was filled with welcoming and thoughtful gestures including Easter eggs and hot cross buns, as well as fruit, milk and bread (on top of a well-stocked pantry). Would highly recommend and would love to return.

We had a great family holiday at Bernie’s place in Hanmer. The house was amazing, the photos don’t do it justice! Bernie was the best host, the house was beautifully made up with the heating on for our arrival. Every last detail was thought about. The house was immaculate. The house was simply fabulous. Not only was it clean and exceedingly well appointed, the kitchen was fully equipped. It allowed us to cook what we needed, with plenty of space to entertain. It also had a really good vibe, and we felt relaxed and at home. The setting with a view out to Mt Isabel was perfect, and a short distance to the centre of Hanmer. Eva, the host was prompt and proactive with her replies to our questions. We would have no hesitation to stay here again and would recommend to our friends.

We loved our stay at the bach! Comfortable & cosy, we loved the spa and the open fire, the surroundings were spectacular! The house had everything we needed for a fun stay! Conical hill walk just up the road was awesome! So much to eat & do at the village. Would highly recommend this lovely home 😊

We loved our stay, the house was beautiful, warm and had everything we needed. We had a busy weekend in Kaikoura so only wished we could have been home more to enjoy the house. Christine checked we had everything we needed at check in and was very responsive to any questions we had. Hopefully we can stay again some time

We had a great stay at the Pink Palace. The house was very clean and tidy, and had so many thoughtful touches to make it the best home away from home. We travelled as a family and it was the perfect set up. We will be back for sure!
