This place is an absolute gem and you will love it! It's a bit hidden away, so make sure to read Sarah's arrival instructions well. Once you're there, you'll fall in love with the little barn at Higher Gear immediately! Everything is lovingly prepared, incl. all these small, thoughtful details that you wouldn't expect but are delighted to receive. The room is spacious, the bathroom well equipped and it's all clean and welcoming. Couldn't recommend it more highly!

We had a lovely stay at the Wren's Nest. Marisa was friendly and very good at responding to any messages, check in was easy, and the instructions were clear. The space was tidy, clean, and had everything we could have needed. We had a warm welcome and were even provided some scones with Cornish cream and jam to enjoy. The location was peaceful and quite secluded which is what we wanted, I think you would definitely need a car to be able to get around to lots of different places. We visited lots of great locations easily. A very enjoyable stay, thanks 😊

We had a wonderful stay! The annexe was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited to our needs. Maria was a fantastic host — warm, welcoming, and thoughtful throughout. All the little touches, especially the breakfast items, made us feel right at home. We’d love to come back and would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area!

I can’t recommend this place enough! The accommodation is quiet, peaceful, clean and romantic. There’s plenty do in the surrounding area and at the site itself. Rebecca was really friendly and super responsive. Would absolutely recommend :)
