Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Chikaming Township

My wife and I have stayed at many vacation home rentals over the years, this one was one of the very best! First, I booked they house late afternoon on the day we wanted to arrive. Sarah responded immediately, accepted our booking and got me the access code to the property. It was all done within a few minutes! The house was beautifully decorated (my wife loved it and she is a designer!), well appointed and located very conveniently to all of the places we wanted to spend our time. We loved the hot tub, used the sauna almost every morning and our Golden Doodle loved the big fenced in back yard. Sarah and Brady are unbelievably responsive to needs too! One evening we wanted to enjoy the fire pit, but they were out of fire starters. I contacted Sarah at 7:36p, she responded at 7:37p and by 7:51 Brandy had already dropped a box of fire starters on the front porch! What?!?!?! Amazing. I HIGHLY recommend this place, we will be back!

The most adorable cottage and getaway for my husband and I! I am picky and this one checked all the boxes. We loved being right across the street from the private access beach, walkable to Whistle Stop, comfortable and super clean accommodations - everything feels well thought out from the sheets to the design choices and we appreciated all of the details. We will definitely be back!

The girls and I planned a weekend getaway in this house. Our favorite part was the screened in porch in the middle of the yard. Us girls literally spent each night outside catching up. Such a wonderful weekend away at such a peaceful place. We would definitely come back.

I loved this space! It was private, with beautiful surroundings, and a cozy and curated interior. Not your average air bnb in the best ways. We had everything we needed. Elena was a very kind host and offered clear instructions and great recommendations. Would stay here again :)

The excellent taste of the hosts sets this rental apart from the rest. The decor in the home is beautifully curated. When you combine that with the views, it's a perfect vacation spot! We were grateful to be able to return for our fourth visit to Charles and Jeremy's home. Thank you for sharing it with us--we love it!

Our multi-family group had a great stay at Annie's Attic. Gina was very responsive throughout our stay and provided helpful information upon arrival. We appreciated the extra common room on the lower level for the kids to have their own hangout space. We also added on the annex space which provided us an extra bathroom and additional sleeping spaces. The house was clean and kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. This place is a great option for large groups and we'd certainly book again in the future.

Great place to stay! The space was just right for our family of four. the two littles loved the games and toy that was at the house, and we loved the stocked coffee area and easy washer/dryer. Easy drives to Indiana Dunes NP, Silver Beach in St Joseph, and other fun destinations, as well as local u-pick farms made this a great stay and great trip. Robert was very quick and responsive with the briefest wifi glitch when we first arrived. We will be back!!

We picked This spot for its location and everything else fell into place. if you have anything to do at Notre Dame this is the place to stay.

Maybe the best Airbnb attached to someone’s home that I’ve ever stayed in. Such a sweet set up. Very comfortable, clean, private. Thankful for the keurig for coffee and water bottles in the frig. My stay was short but very restful and waking up to have my morning coffee out on the deck and watch the river and the birds was the highlight of my stay. Mark was very good with communicating and gave clear instructions. The Airbnb was easy to find, even in the dark. Of course being attached to their home there was a bit of noise from the kids in the morning but that wasn’t until after 9am and didn’t bother me at all. I’d definitely stay again if I’m in the area!

My husband and I both loved staying at the Cottage. It was perfect for us! The hosts were wonderful, the place was clean, well equipped, private, quiet, and easy to access. We plan to stay again in the future. Wonderful, wonderful place!

We had a comfortable girls getaway. We were happy that they provided beach chairs and an umbrella available for us to use. Enjoyed being able to walk to the local Fluid Coffee House. Just a few minutes drive to the beach of Lake Michigan. Michigan City is a quiet little town close to Indiana Dunes and New Buffalo which is more vibrant.

Loved my stay! The farm was gorgeous and so peaceful and rejuvenating. Wish I could’ve stayed longer and would definitely stay again. Dan and Suzanne were friendly and helpful and the apartment was comfortable, well-equipped and beautifully decorated. 5 stars!

The condo was as advertised. Clean, organized, quiet and nicely decorated. We really enjoyed our annual family visit.

We had a wonderful stay here. We are locals that needed a place to stay during some home renovations. We loved the location. We considered renting a place down by the lake but we chose to be close to all the shops and restaurants and we were very pleased with that decision. The Lake/beach is an easy and pretty walk. Juniper was very accommodating with our dog. We loved the layout and space. The table top shuffle board was a fun add. We highly recommend this place.
