Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Chikaming Township

Booked this for a birthday trip for my partner. We brough 13 of our friends with us and had the best time. All our friends were instantly impressed with how beautiful the house was when we pulled up for the first time. Having 15 adults in a house can be hard, but we all felt totally at home and like we all had enough space. The house is so well stocked, I brought extra kitchen things with me as I'm so used to going to rentals where the kitchen has a broken spatula, three forks, and a salt shaker. However, the kitchen had so many gadgets and utensils I didn't need to bring anything at all. Making meals for 15 people was easy and fun. The lighting in the house is beautiful and the area was so fun to explore. Truly so close to the local grocery store, the red arrow roadhouse and town line beach. Which were all big parts of our weekend plan. Had so much fun, this feels like a real home and there is so much care and heart in it's decoration and maintenance. Would stay again x100!!

Our group had an absolutely amazing stay! Everyone raved about how beautiful the property was—from the peaceful setting to the gorgeous interior. The hot tub was a favorite spot for unwinding, and the well-stocked, spacious kitchen made it easy (and fun!) to cook all our meals in. We also loved having a grill to use! The hosts were super responsive and helpful with any questions we had. I would highly recommend this home to any large group looking for a relaxing, well-equipped getaway with all the comforts of home.

We stay at many Airbnb properties. This one ranks towards the very top. It is a beautiful home with everything you need and more. It was very clean and full of well-appointed antiques. Everything was in working order. Two dishwashers, an ice maker, and even a heated toilet seat! We enjoyed all of the games, which were in wonderful working condition. We walked in and were welcomed by soft music and gifts. It really is a wonderful place to stay. No hesitation to book this is warranted.

This is our second stay here - we really enjoy the clean, modern, open spaces and peaceful surroundings. Plenty of room for our family of five to spread out, but also to come together in the kitchen or living room for games around a fire. Looking forward to another stay in the future!

In a word, Nina's s place is a rare gem! It's even more beautiful than in the pictures. It's a regal, private, wooden cottage nestled in a forest, with everything you would desire for a beautiful stay. What we quickly noticed is the amount of care that this place was designed with and built, followed by the amount of details to make our stay wonderful. House is built out of gorgeous wooden logs and furnished with amazing custom wood furniture. House is spacious! Kitchen and game room have everything that we needed. Grill works great and the fire pit is draws you to make smores and roast hot dogs. Throughout the estate we noticed everything well stocked and ready for us. Firewood ready in the fire pit and by the fire place, together with small starter logs and lighter. Plenty of towels everywhere they needed to be. Great WiFi. Everything in the house was superbly clean. Nina had helpful instructions ready for every situation, making the stay very relaxed. Thank you so much!!

Melissa’s house was amazing, absolutely loved it and the scenery? Amazing. 💕 She was very responsive when I asked some questions and very understanding when i brought some thing’s to her attention after our stay. Definitely would love to stay here again.

Was an absolutely relaxing stay. It was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. An extended weekend away with a bunch of things around us to do. It had a little bit of everything around us, including privacy. It was fantastic.

The place is was very nice and clean! Price is worth it and it’s also very relaxing. The hosts were very nice and welcoming too! Would stay here again if in the area!

We very much enjoyed our stay here! It was clean, private, and spacious. The instructions to locating the apartment were clear and helpful. It was nearby everything we wanted to do, and was a nice place to rest at night. Would love to book again if we are up this way again.

This was our second stay at Wildwood and it was just as lovely as the first time. We wanted to spend some time in Shipshewana, Middlebury and Goshen and this location is perfect for all those places. It's so peaceful and has everything you could need. The cookies Lynette leaves are DELISH and she's so quick to respond if you should need anything. I'm sure we'll be back again some day!

We met here with college friends and their families and had a wonderful time. There is a wide variety of books, games, and activities; we really didn’t need to bring our own! The hosts were very responsive and even drove out with trash bags when we messaged that we couldn’t find any. Highly recommend!

We LOVED this place! We stayed in the house with 5 adults and 5 kids (ages 11 months-6 years old). Grandma and Grandpa stayed at the hotel located on property too and they came to the house for meals and hanging out and we had plenty of space. House was clean, bathrooms were stocked, and beds were comfy. The laundry was a great thing to have on a family trip with lots of kids! The staff and host were very helpful and friendly. John responded to messages quickly and if we needed anything we stopped at the front desk and they helped right away. The pools, beach, park, and fire pit were loved by everyone and used daily by our group. The lake access on the property is not easily accessible for young children but South Beach is just a short drive away if you want lake access for swimming. The sunset view is amazing. We enjoyed sitting on the porch every night while the kids played in the grassy area. We will be back! Thank you for a wonderful family vacation spot!

Bruce & Carol were excellent hosts anticipating needs while going above and beyond to make the stay special. The home has beautiful landscaping and gardens. Plenty of room for children to run and play. The breeze from the lake can be enjoyed throughout the home. The house has lake front views throughout the main rooms. The home is positioned ideally for guests with 3 separate living spaces and an open kitchen to the main gathering space that opens to the deck and grill. The walk to St. Joseph is less than a mile and we completed this enjoyable walk daily. Farmer market operates every Saturday during the summer with concerts on Sunday evenings all in walking distance of home. The private beach is beautiful and hosts shared paddle boards and beach toys to add to experience. We enjoyed sunset walks to the lighthouse pier. The internet is fast and reliable for those looking to work away from home with 2-3 possible office locations in home. We would return here again.

Kawal is an amazing host! The house is absolutely beautiful and aptly named. My family had a wonderful time and Kawal did everything he could and more to make our stay incredible. I’ve already told him, but I will say it again….thank you Kawal for making our time magnificent!
