Buttercup Shepherds Hut

KatieRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We have been coming to Hale farm with friends on a yearly basis and love everything about the campsite. This time we stayed in the shepards hut for our mini honeymoon and as always have no bad words to say. The farm is a delight, the cleanliness of the facilities are great, the hosts are friendly and attentive and the location is perfect walking distance to bars, cafes and the local village shop. Incredible value for money with complimentary supplies provided. Couldn't recommend enough, thank you.

Braylsham Castle

SarahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
John's castle is just amazing. Everything we could only dream of. Setting is idyllic, relaxing, homely, spacious and grand. Laura welcomed us, showed us around and was friendly and made us feel at home. Breakfast was a treat and cooked beautifully. Any questions we needed answered were done quickly. We dined out at two of the recommended pubs and the food was brilliant. Our labrador Holly was made to feel like one of the guests. She had the run of the castle, loved the walks that were close by and of course the lake truly made her experience 5* too. My children enjoyed a singing lesson with Laura and there was no problem with general noise the children made. We met John and he was a knowledgeable gentleman. Thank you for letting us stay in your home John and many thanks to Laura for everything you did for us too.

The Perfect Staycation!

KayleeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Highly recommend this stay!!! Mims was incredible proactive and friendly, answering all messages immediately. Anything we needed help with, she was straight round! The area is gorgeous, so many nearby walks, and only a 25 min drive to the Seven Sisters cliffs. The home is amazing, with everything you could need. The kitchen is a perfect size and we were able to make great dinners with everything in there. The bed is incredibly comfy - we even had to ask Mims for the links for the duvet and covers! There is plenty of space for parking, and is gated. The large garden was lovely to have a drink in and play some games. Really enjoyed this stay and we have recommended it to family and friends :)

A special self catering cottage

Little Hawthorn is absolutely stunning. Such attention to detail, Gary and Shona forgot nothing, everything you needed and more was there. Immaculate throughout and extremely comfortable. We loved it! A very generous welcome basket on arrival at Little Hawthorn, just what you need after a long journey. A lovely touch and very much appreciated. I cannot praise Gary and Shona enough as hosts, chuffed to have found their beautiful little property. I will definitely return. Thanks again, Lou and James x

Escape to the Sea

JacquelineRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We were in Hastings to catch Jack Dee and only booked one night. Tanya is really great to communicate with responsive and friendly. Finding and getting in is easy. The communal hallway/ stairs are tatty but my lord it doesn’t matter when you see the view from the living room. It’s absolutely stunning. The flat is spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen is cute and all you need. The bedroom is large, so quiet we had such a good sleep. Wish we had booked longer as I could stare out at the sea for hours! Great flat! Would not hesitate to stay again.

Cute overnight stay felt secluded and private. Lots of thought has gone into the provisions and lovely being able to cook a hot breakfast! Great location for visiting Lewes and also the South Downs. Emma was there for help if needed .

Unique shipping container cabin in private woods

If you're looking for a place to relax without Wi-Fi, where there's no need for a phone, this is the spot for you. You can enjoy the serenity of staring into the flames or lounging in the hot tub, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. Here, you'll encounter wild deer, the chirping of birds, and the invigorating smell of the great outdoors. We truly appreciated the solitude and the opportunity to connect with our loved ones without any distractions. It was a refreshing break that allowed us to have conversations around the campfire while enjoying good whiskey. This is truly a place to stay.
