The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, which made staying with them a memorable and heartwarming experience. They were open to accomodate to things such as dietary restrictions, travel plans and personal interests, all in order to help you optimize your trip. All in all, I had a lovely stay, and I would warmly recommend others to choose this Airbnb for their stay in Chichibu, as well.

This was our first time staying in a traditional Japanese house, and we were very excited before our arrival. Upon checking in, we were delighted with everything—the beautiful surroundings, the exceptional traditional Japanese house, and the warm hospitality of the two owners. We will gladly recommend "古民家田淵" to our friends and look forward to returning for another stay in the future.

Due to the proximity to the neighborhood, we were able to enjoy the barbecue and private space in the room.

It was a beautiful space as pictured.It was nice to be able to sleep on the futon myself.Everywhere I looked, it was clean and very relaxing.The companion was also delighted that it was "very good", so it was the right choice this time.Thank you very much. It was a whole concept, but it wasn't all there, and I enjoyed cooking, "What can I do with this cookware," "Let's buy that because I need it," "Let's replace it".Thank you very much.

It was a little difficult to live in the mountains, but there were waterfalls and hot springs nearby, so it was a good place to stay where you can relax and feel the nature!

There were 3 combini shops nearby (7-Eleven and 2 FamilyMart), several bars and 3 restaurants with rich food. Sometimes in the evenings the customers of the Bars did make some noise but it was minimal what was heard and it was for a short time. It's a 3 minute walk from the subway station, so it's very convenient. The only two bad points would be the shower is very small, if you are a wide person you are going to struggle a little at the time of bathing, and the other that is not related to the house is the distance to the center of Tokyo, which is approximately 1:30 hrs away using the semi-express lines of the metro, but with the cost-benefit that transportation time is acceptable. Personally I would stay with Nomad again.

We had a nice time and slept very well in the amazing beds. The hosts even gave us a late check-out, which we appreciated greatly. However in our opinion the room is a bit overpriced as the accommodation itself is quite simple.

This was our second time at Yaeko-san's, and we highly recommend it! It is quite clean with a hot shower and comfortable futons. Yaeko-san is a kind host, and she leaves thoughtful touches throughout the space. We love exploring tohges, and this spot is central to quite a few of them. We look forward to our next trip, knowing this is a clean, comfortable lodging!

We are very much happy with our stay in Kat’s places. We got 2 listings and both I highly recommend. We appreciated that both have washing machines with provided detergent so we were able to wash our clothes. We were also able to cook and eat easily because all the cookwares, utensils, glasses (even the cooking oil) are provided on both listings. Enough toiletries are also provided for our almost 2 weeks stay. Very convenient because it’s near the station. The only thing that might need improvement is the shower - either too hot or too cold sometimes as a bit hard to set the right temperature. But still 5 stars for us. 4 rooms, 2 toilets, 3 bathrooms, washing machine, very full of 10 people to use, neat environment, fully furnished, good price, very satisfied.

This flat is really well located, being very close to Kawagoeshi train station, a very handy Family Mart and central Kawagoe. It also boasts all the amenities needed for a very enjoyable stay. What's more, Kohei-san is an excellent host who is always very helpful and quick to respond to any questions you may have.
