There is also a coin laundry and convenience store nearby. Hatagaya is close to Shinjuku, safe, and quiet at night, making it a popular place for Japanese youth and families to live. The apartment is about an 11-minute walk from the station. It's a little far from the station, but it's a very easy-to-understand road that only turns once. There are also many buses from Shinjuku.
