I had a wonderful, long-term stay at Justin's place. Wifi was reliable for work from home and the unit was as described with everything required for long stays. Condon Park is practically across the street and it's just a pleasant, 12 minute, fully side-walked walk to Grass Valley proper. Five stars across the board. Certainly book Justin's place if you find it available.

The place was just as expected from the images. Totally recommend it. Went in February. It rained the entire time we were there, but we enjoyed our time indoors. The house is spacious, lots of room to enjoy the stay. The kitchen has a commercial looking stove which was nice for cooking, there is a main sink along with a bar sink which helped out. The kitchen is stocked with enough kitchen supplies for normal usage. The refrigerator worked well, the oven worked nicely and the dishwasher did a nice job cleaning the dishes. There is a nice walk in pantry which helped. There is a large mud room (which I’m sure would be very helpful and needed in the summer months). Each bedroom had plenty of room and the restrooms were well maintained. The only minor thing is that a few of the beds squeaked a little when you moved around as you slept and not as comfortable as you would like. The master room bed was comfortable. The host Tami was excellent with communication. Would not mind coming back!

Our stay at Rivendell was fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed into a home that was both inviting and thoughtfully prepared. The attention to detail—from the beautifully maintained gardens to the well-stocked kitchen—made our experience effortless and relaxing. The home itself is a delightful mix of history and comfort, with every room offering something to admire. We especially enjoyed the game room, and we all appreciated the peaceful surroundings and easy access to Grass Valley and Nevada City. Todd and Shannon’s hospitality was evident in every aspect! A great place to stay!

This location was private, beautiful, comfortable and close to town. I was extremely happy with my stay and will be looking forward to returning. The road leading to the cabin is not for low profile cars and in certain weather situations may need AWD. Other than that I would 110% recommend.
