Modest rustic charm with knotty pine, stone fireplace, old style and faded carpeting, but it is very clean and cozy. Hidden retreat close to i80, downtown Colfax, and the famous transcontinental railroad (the Zephyr stops here). The studio is a separate building on half an acre at the front of the property next to the carport. We like to surprise guests with free-range chicken eggs and sourdough bread as available. Close to hiking trails, lakes, and the snow. The A/C unit keeps the space cool after a long hike and a space heater keeps you warm in the winter months!
