Access to the Monsal Trail is just a 10 minutes walk away, and the villages of Litton and Tideswell are also easily accessible by foot.

Our beautiful Black Mountain shepherds hut and undercover hot tub is perched above our wildlife pond, with views over the Welsh hills. It includes double bed, en suite shower room, and for romantic evenings why not light the little hobbit stove. Adjacent to the hut is a charming boathouse, which houses the self catering facilities. Our boathouse opens up to appreciate the views & great outdoors or can be closed up for cosy times by the log burner. Check in is from 4pm Check out is 10.30am

Nestled in the small village of Dilhorne, (about 6 miles from Alton Towers) you'll be wowed by the panoramic, stunning views & peace & quiet here. There are 2 great local pubs in the village, both offering a fantastic range of food & drink. You'll find some beautiful footpaths to explore through the field gate. The Shepherds Hut is sat in recently landscaped private gardens alongside the River Weaver in the Cheshire Countryside. Located on a private island with 4 other homes. Reached by a private road and bridge. Sat on Dutton Locks next to the spectacular Dutton Viaduct, Dutton Horse Bridge and Dutton Sluices, all feats of 19th Century engineering. This is a picturesque, peaceful spot, steeped in history. Superb for activities like angling, bird watching, walking, cycling, kayaking and relaxing

Thorneycroft Shepherds Hut offers short stay holidays for one to two people as an idyllic getaway to the peace and quiet of the countryside. It is situated in a quiet corner of our yard with uninterrupted views down our fields in the picturesque village of Kettleshulme. Great for exploring, a mile up the road the is Goyt Valley and Windgather Rocks, ideal for walkers, climbers and cyclists. In the village there is a local pub, The Swan, that serves excellent food, booking recommended.

The Kasbah is a unique romantic lodge for couples to get away from it all. Private and set in the lower field of our home. Parking is available outside the lodge. You are not overlooked by anyone. My husband and I are on hand for any requirements you might have, whilst respecting your privacy at all times. Beautiful walks and great pubs. Pool heated and open from 1st MAY to end of AUGUST. There is a TV and a large collection of DVD’s. WiFi is only accessed through 4G on your phones.
