Holiday rentals with breakfast in Cheshire

Very nice and private ideal for what we wanted great location as we were at a wedding reception a short walk from the Woodford Centre

We found Stephen’s place whilst looking for a place to stay for a wedding and are so glad we did! It was a 2 minute drive from where we were going and Stephen was an amazing host! Thank you for everything!

We had a wonderful stay here for long weekend. The house itself was modern, clean and tidy and more spacious than we had imagined. We had lovely weather so the outdoor space was great for a coffee in the morning. It was easy to park outside. The area itself is peaceful and a very short walk to the main street in Hoole where there are some lovely independent shops, cafes and restaurants. We loved Poco for Tapas and Little Yellow Pig for brunch. It's also a short walk into Chester. We both agreed we were glad we hadn't chosen to stay in Chester itself as this location was perfect. We hope to visit again :)

Everything was as described. Comfy beds and great shower. We didn't use public transport but uber was quick and easy to secure for the location. Great spot for a longish stay and great value.

Thanks so much for a lovely stay! This was an ideal location for us as we went hiking in the Peak District. William was very responsive, gave clear instructions and was very accommodating. He even left us some snacks and drinks for our stay, and there were also a few board games to choose from. The house felt very homely, the bathrooms were lovely and beds were super comfy! Superb Airbnb for our 3 nights away exploring the local area. Accommodation had everything we needed and all the little extra touches made it extra special. I particularly liked the booklet Eirwen had made with recommendations of where to eat, drink and visit in the local vicinity. The cookies, milk, bread, eggs, butter, yogurt etc were also a bonus. Eirwens’ husband Mike also deserves a mention as nothing was too much trouble. He happily helped with where we could clean our bikes and sorted out storage for the bikes as well as giving advice about places to go in the area. Would definitely recommend. Thank you

My sister and I had a lovely time staying at the cottage for 3 nights. Ed and Charlotte were so friendly and welcoming to us. They were easy to communicate with and I felt comfortable reaching out to them. The cottage was clean and cozy, we felt safe and comfortable staying there. We would definitely recommend it if staying in Baslow! We loved going to Chatsworth house and Bakewell was nice too! There’s a bus stop near by that takes you to the popular spots, it is important to note we found it difficult to get a taxi in that area.

We had a fantastic stay at Lyns place! The space was spotlessly clean and looked exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect for us—just a short walk to the bus to get to surrounding towns and the train station, which made getting around super easy. The town itself is charming and peaceful, a lovely place to relax after a day of exploring. A special thanks to Lyn for her warm hospitality—she made us feel right at home. She provided many wonderful recommendations for things to do and places to eat, which really helped us make the most of our stay. The breakfast hamper was such a thoughtful treat that we truly appreciated. Would absolutely stay here again!

Mike's place is comfortable, clean, and adequate for 4 people, although provides for six. It's superbly kitted out, down to the last tea bag! That's an understatement! If this is an overnight and you have forgotten your "you know what's", and you are boarding for Barbados tomorrow morning, Mike will sort you out and get you to the airport. I'm sure of it! The Garden Apartment is a basement flat with very little natural light. Don't let that deter you! The facilities are first class. There are mirrors and creative lighting which make it feel light. Plus the garden, which is your private space to enjoy with BBQ. The garden is a delight with Roses and Wisteria, and many plants I could no identify. It's good!

This is my second stay here. I cannot fault anything about the apartment. The bed is extremely comfortable, everything is exceptionally clean and there is plenty of hot water. It is in a great location within easy walking distance to Harrogate town centre and all the restaurants and bars. I would highly recommend staying here.

Gina’s apartment was wonderful and in a fantastic location. It was spotless and well-equipped, with plenty of toiletries, cleaning supplies, towels, and more. We also appreciated the thoughtful provision of basic breakfast supplies, including milk. The internet worked perfectly, and there was a smart TV with free satellite channels and apps like Netflix, which we could easily log into. Gina was an exceptional host, offering great communication and a warm, friendly attitude. We even had a lovely chat before we left, and it felt like we’d known each other for years! I only wish I could have stayed longer to continue the conversation.

We love to stay here when we come up to Formby. Feels so comfortable, well situated. The extra touches are very welcome. After our long journey, there are always nice things in the fridge for us to eat and drink on our arrival. John is there if you need any help, but it’s very much your private apartment while you are there. We now regard it as our ‘home’ in Formby.

Beautiful cozy farmhouse in a lovely town near Leeds. The place was absolutely gorgeous - warm, inviting, and full of charm. The hot tub was amazing, and there were plenty of games to enjoy. The host was super helpful and thoughtful with great local recommendations as well as leaving crumpets, fresh milk and butter and a selection of cereals and snacks for us to enjoy. No negatives, highly recommend!

Oh my goodness, they had thought of everything!!! Having given us a lovely warm welcome we discovered there was food to get us going in the fridge, the facilities were above and beyond and the setting unbelievably beautiful. The first Airbnb I’ve been to that has toothpicks, postitnotes and binoculars!!

Had the most wonderful stay in this little oasis. The space was beautiful with lots of colour and character, along with a file of thoughtfully written guide of everything you'll need to know. Lisa was also very accommodating and super responsive throughout, especially over check in/out days. We stayed only for the weekend but could imagine this place being a great option for longer term stay as well. The neighbourhood in general is gorgeous and quiet, very close to Brocco Park which is a beautiful walk and relatively well connected to public transport. We chose to walk mostly and took around 30minutes on average to get to most of where we want to go. Highly recommend!

Beautiful views and wonderful conversion and our first Welch breakfast. We wish we could have stayed longer. The large house was so interesting with all the little period antiques and attention to detail. They also have a beautiful while horse that adds to the view! It was an overall wonderful time and we might be back if we are in the area again.

Maywalk House provided everything we needed and more for our walking break in the Peak District, including a comfy bed, luxurious bathroom and a hearty breakfast cooked by Felicity to kick start each day. It's only 10 minutes' walk from the Miners Arms in Eyam village, which serves good evening meals. Felicity is a great host, friendly and welcoming but at the same time unobtrusive. We'd thoroughly recommend Maywalk House Airbnb.

Lorely’s place was the perfect long weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. She and her husband were friendly, flexible, helpful and always so responsive to messages. The home is as beautiful as the photos - such a wonderfully interesting space! Unwinding in front of the fire every evening was on of our favourite things to do. We also fell totally in love with Lulu the cat. She is an outdoor cat and apparently happy to stay away if guests aren’t up for her to be inside, but we simply adored her and loved when she graced us with visits. Cuddly and delightfully chill. Our 4 year old managed the curvy staircase well and thought it was fun to sleep on the pull out. Beds were comfortable and it stayed a good temp all night. Fridge is small and there were limited basic ingredients available so not really set up for a full food shop, but it was fine for a short trip. Shop is only a 5 min drive away and easy enough to grab dinner from every day. Loved our stay - thank you!

Ruby is a very helpful host, lots of friendly communication before arrival and during my stay. The location is excellent for visiting the Christie hospital where my husband was having treatment, literally over the road! There is a small Sainsbury's just down the road towards Wythenshawe and other supermarkets within a 20 minute walk in Didsbury. Having off road parking was another big bonus as on road parking can be time limited. The bed was comfortable and I had everything I needed for my stay, including snacks, breakfast cereal, tea and coffee. If I need to stay in this area in the future I will definitely try to book here again!

The bed was very comfortable, the view was great, the breakfast was delicious. Beccy and Nicola were both very friendly and it was a perfect one night stop over for us. A quiet and peaceful spot - loved watching the rabbits at dusk from the bedroom window. The "tired decor" did not worry us at all - in fact it made the place have its own unique character!!

Wendy has a beautiful home that she keeps in tip top shape. We had a great stay, especially with a dog. Wendy was very welcoming and left us to our own devices to explore the local area, with good driving distance to the Peaks.

We had a lovely stay whilst visiting family in the area! It’s a super convenient location - not far from Shrewsbury. The accommodation was so lovely and clean, a really comfy bed and the loveliest breakfast made by Rachel - she even provided a gluten free breakfast for my boyfriend.

The flat was ideal for a few days stay in central Manchester. I found Mark to be friendly and helpful at all times. He even welcomed me on arrival with his collie dog. I particularly enjoyed the open plan space leading onto the roof garden.
