Barn accommodation in Cheshire

We had an excellent stay at Scott’s place. The house had all amenities required and more! Therefore, we didn’t need to contact Scott, however he did check in with us to see if all was well. Would definitely stay here again

Such a lovely place, had a nice girly weekend for my hen do with my bridesmaids and maid of honour and the hosts were really sweet. They were happy to co-ordinate with my maid of honour so the whole thing was a really nice surprise and it was overall really private and peaceful with such stunning views. Would highly recommend and think we will definitely be booking again 🤍

Fernyford Barn is the perfect base for a holiday in the Peak District. There are so many things to do and places to visit just a short drive away. The barn is very comfortable, nicely decorated and perfect for families. We loved stocking up on food from the local shops and meat from the farm itself and cooking in the well-equipped kitchen. Neil and his family were friendly and welcoming hosts and our little ones loved meeting the sheep and exploring the farm. We’d love to return.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We really appreciated the little touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The jacuzzi was lovely! The hosts were great at providing us with all the information we needed for a stress free check in/out and a perfect stay. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mini break. Peacocks were a lovely surprise seeing them walk around the estate. Thanks again! Excellent stay, cosy little place that we wish we had the time to have enjoyed more. Would absolutely stay again if we were in the area. Donna was really responsive and helpful and made everything clear amd easy to follow :).

Alison’s property was chosen as a central location for family to come and visit during our stay. Very friendly host and well equipped holiday let. Plenty of dog blankets/throws, toilet rolls, towels and tea towels. Thoughtful ‘get you in pack’ covering the basics you’ll need for a cuppa and snacks. Plenty of emergency condiments and toiletries if you need them. I worked from ‘home’ during our stay, the WiFi didn’t let me down. A fantastic find!

Excellent accommodation, exactly as described. Two well appointed bedrooms with powerful hot showers. We really appreciated the toys, tractor and box of Lego which kept our grandson busy for quite a few hours. Very welcoming hosts, and two lovely labradors who came to say hello. Only a short drive to Loggerheads Country Park for a great walk with lovely scenery.

Second time we stayed here. Would definitely stay again. 👍

This is a beautiful, cosy little cottage in a perfect, peaceful location. The cottage is perfect for two (and a dog!) and has everything you could need for your stay. There are so many walks from your doorstep and maps have been provided for excellent local walks. Annette is a brilliant host, going above and beyond during our stay. She is full of information about the area, both before and during our visit, with plenty of recommendations for good places to eat and visit. We visited two of the pubs she recommended and they were fantastic, and dog friendly! (The Black Lion & The Lazy Trout). We absolutely loved our stay and would love to go back soon.

This was our second stay in Sarnau and we enjoyed our four nights as much as our first visit. The property is just lovely. In a beautiful location. Peaceful but easy to get to places. It’s extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean and with fabulous hosts where nothing is too much trouble. We find it a great location to do lots in the area and this time we visited the coast twice which is less than an hour away. Highly recommend and we hope to be back.

Lovely stay at Fiona and Richard’s place. The surroundings are beautiful and the barn has everything you need. Fiona was friendly and helpful. Lots of wonderful places to visit near by and plenty of walking. We had a very relaxed few days.

Was booked at short notice and absolutely didn’t disappoint. The accommodation was fantastic inside, and just as nice outside. We got a warm welcome from Lucy and then left to our own devices. Highly recommended to anybody wanting a relaxing, private getaway. A big thank you also for the bottle of Prosecco in the fridge and chocolates ect. It’s a nice touch to add to an already lovely place.

Adele's gite was perfect for my short stay while visiting relatives. It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable as far as I was concerned. It had everything I needed including extras in the shower: shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. There is only a microwave which was fine as far as I was concerned but there are plenty of places around for eating out all listed out on helpful sheets provided by Adele. One thing, it does take a long time for the water to run hot, I almost gave up ;)

Amy’s house was so comfortable, cozy and clean you felt right at home from the minute you arrived. The location is very quiet with stunning views. Amy was very helpful and checked in to make sure our stay was going well. I would happily stay here again if we were going to North Wales again. The house is a short drive to lots of beaches and close to Chester and other main cities if you fancy a day trip. We enjoyed every minute! Thanks so much Amy!

i was born about 4 miles from the piggery but did not realise what a view could be had from the Stoodley Pike hillside. It was helped by the really good weather (also a surprise) but the Piggery has been very well thought out, was spotless, and had most things you would expect. Everything included was working and of excellent quality. The drive up from Eastwood is like nothing previously experienced, a little scary. We did it three times and I must say, by the third time we did it, I quite enjoyed it. We met both Barry and Helen separately and found both of them very pleasant and extremely helpful. The accommodation was well thought out and once again, I must mention the views which are superb. A location to be recommended. Ray (and Shirley)

We had a wonderful long weekend at this property. Directions were easy to follow, and check in was easy. The barn is beautiful- spotlessly clean, well laid out, uncluttered but had everything we needed for the weekend. The location is stunning- an easy walk to Rudyard Lake, woodland walks and the perfect view of the cows in the field just outside the door. I would happily rebook, and would love to stay again. What a great find. Perfect location for peaceful walks with my Dalmatian Daisy. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard with plenty of room and felt secure and safe. Most important to me was that it was dog friendly and it really was. Daisy had her own secure area to play in and this is just so helpful. Hosts are friendly and the info provided to help you to find the place is excellent, also lots of info in the accommodation about the local area. Would definitely recommend and also would love to stay again for a longer break.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Absolute Gem – A Perfect Stay at Swallow Barn! I honestly can't recommend Swallow Barn highly enough – it was everything I hoped for and so much more. Tucked away in the stunning Peak District, it was the perfect escape for both me and my golden retriever. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Chris and Pru are exceptional hosts. They are the loveliest people – warm, welcoming, incredibly helpful, and wonderfully flexible. They had even left the most thoughtful treats for both me and my dog, which was such a heartwarming touch and made us feel instantly at home. The barn itself is cosy, comfy, and beautifully furnished, with a lovely bed. It’s the kind of place that instantly puts you at ease – peaceful, warm, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing stay. For my dog, it was an absolute paradise – there's a field right outside where he could run, play, and stretch his legs to his heart’s content. It’s incredibly dog-friendly. The location is just breathtaking

An amazing "Barn", clean, spacious and peacefully located within beautiful surroundings. Very friendly and welcoming host. Definitely a place to visit. We've had a truly wonderful experience.

This place is incredible, so peaceful. We had our two children with us the space was perfect for spending quality time just the four of us, fun and games in the garden in the day and peaceful evenings be the fire pit absolutely perfect will 100 percent be returning. John was also very fast to be helpful with anything we needed as far as giving me a heads up with traffic on my route, fantastic host

Wow. This place is an actual fairytale. I cannot believe how incredible it is for the price you pay. The photos are amazing but even they don’t do it justice. A gorgeous little cabin tucked away in even more gorgeous gardens, surrounded by rolling hills in every direction. The cabin might be small but, my goodness, do they fit a lot in. The sauna was perfect after chilly walks and winding down in the evenings with the projector was heavenly. The hosts were amazing and so friendly. We were even handed some freshly baked bread on arrival! Of course, we can’t forget to mention the other two hosts - Tilly & Nugget (two gorgeous little dogs who will happily show you the way to the lake when you fancy a row). A little oasis of peace surrounded by the potential for adventure. Cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone heading to this part of the world.

Absolutely amazing hosts! Greeted you when you got there and went through everything including places to eat,drink and walks especially the dog friendly places! The place itself is so cute and cosey. We would stay here again and the doggos really enjoyed themselves! Thank you for a lovely stay :)

Helen's cottage is a wonderful place to stay for a nice peaceful break in the picturesque village of Llanasa. It is the perfect spot to explore all North Wales has to offer and the stack of information provided at the cottage assisted us greatly with this. The cottage is immaculate and there is a patio area outside where you can sit and all you hear in nature. Helen and Sam are the perfect hosts and I would highly recommend a stay at their lovely cottage.
