Peaceful oasis! We absolutely adored our stay here. It was remote but surrounded by beautiful towns and villages to explore. The place itself was perfect for what we needed and just spending time outside in nature/farms. The pool and hot tub were exceptional. It was so quiet we felt we were fully alone and could fully switch off. There was everything you needed kitchen and bbq etc. Would love to come back.

Great stay! The hosts are very nice and welcoming. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and well equipped, exactly as described. Very well located, with several nice cities nearby for sightseeing.

We were greeted by Lucille , who spoke perfect English and Monsieur . We were shown all about the house, how to operate the jacuzzi and given excellent recommendations for the area. The booklet was invaluable particularly for village market days. The house is so attractively deco and so comfortable with everything you need to make your stay troubles free and relaxing. As we are from Australia we loved cooking outside on the BBQ. Being supplied with wraps for the jacuzzi was much appreciated as was the jacuzzi after climbing lots of steps visiting the castles. Our hosts all came to farewell us which was a lovely friendly touch. We thank you all for your lovely home and generous spirit of welcome. This is an excellent Perigord base and we strongly recommend it.

Happy and warm week. Very bright accommodation with floor-to-ceiling windows everywhere. Nothing is missing to live your vacation well, everything is clean. It is missing a microwave and a kettle; eco-friendly fireplace is required. The photos were well taken as the trees have since grown on the panoramic view. Hot tub very welcome. Safety improvements offered especially for children: missing railings throughout the basement including behind ping pong, sliding door of the 1-seater bedroom, ... Beautiful area with many remarkable activities and sights.

Armand and Stéphanie were fabulous, friendly and considerate hosts. The location is great and peaceful, a magnificent restoration work has been done. A plus for the beautiful jacuzzi that we couldn't use for weather reasons, but it's only a matter of time. You can go there with your eyes closed (not too much because you have to look at the road), you will not be disappointed.

Very pleasant stay in this small cottage, very well furnished, with everything, including food! Very discreet hosts but very attentive to well-being. Peaceful and serene setting that we will be happy to return to on a future trip!

Only one night spent at Martine and Jean-Michel's, but I will gladly come back if possible. The layout of the house is charming and authentic.

We had a great stay at the Tilleuls house. Cécile is very welcoming and we immediately felt at home. The house is nice with a large living room, which was nice because we were 3 couples. The garden is huge and very pretty. It's a haven of peace. It is fenced, which is great for dogs. Several places with tables and garden furniture. Gourmet basket on arrival. Claude and Marie-Christine's place is a real little haven of peace, very welcoming and responsive hosts. the little outdoor space is very nice and relaxing! Everything is done to feel at home there! nothing is missing! the environment is beautiful and absolutely quiet! it's an address that I keep precious!!

An enchanted break at the cabin by the pond! We had a great time close to nature. A warm welcome from Sara, with excellent sourdough bread. Access is simple and quick to this cocoon of greenery. The cabin is soft and full of charm. We were able to enjoy it under the sun, but also snuggling in it during a stormy evening, it was great and so cozy, the cabin is very well insulated; but if needed, the stove was already ready to heat this cozy place (we didn't need it.). We felt at home there. There are many nooks and crannies to enjoy this peaceful retreat, observe nature and adopt a peaceful way of life. We strongly recommend this place and its charming hostess. Thanks for creating this place.

We've just stayed at Anne's place for a week and had the most wonderful holiday. It had everything we could have wished for and more. Perfect for our 3 year old with so much to do for him and the pool was secured with a fence. There are so many games and spaces to explore. Location was superb and we are already looking forward to returning. Thank you Anne for giving us the best week!

Linda and Alex's villa is in a beautiful & peaceful location, it has a fantastic swimming pool and beautiful gardens with lots of things to do – table tennis, swimming, boules, & relaxing 😌 The area is wonderful with lots of River swimming and beautiful towns all within a 10/15 minute drive We will definitely be returning

The location was peaceful and calm, and the house was well maintained and spacious. The garden was well kept. It was a great place to spend a week.

We had an utterly fabulous week at Magalie's lovely gite. Very tranquil settings, just the sounds of the birds and peace and quiet. The grounds were beautiful tended and the gite was immaculate and very well set out and equiped. The beds were memory foam I think and very comfortable and lots of hot water. Important things i think when looking for reviews. It rained most days but the heating was on and very comfortable. ,Magalie and her husband were very helpful and lovely hosts. We will book again xx

An absolutely wonderful stay at L’Atelier. Perfect accommodation with everything one would need for a relaxing and restorative holiday. Swimming pool and air con were the icing on the cake! Lovely products and excellent cooking facilities, even a barbecue! Nicki and David were extremely helpful hosts offering suggestions on places to visit and restaurants to enjoy. This accommodation is situated in a quieter area of the Dordogne near the Dronne. Feel totally relaxed now and ready for the mania of the SE of U.K. - well almost ready 😂😂

We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful Gite. The Gite was lovely and more than met the needs of the four of us. The grounds are stunning and so peaceful. We were blessed with good weather and being able to use the pool and relax in and enjoy the grounds helped make this a perfect stay. Fabi and Steve were wonderful hosts, and gave us lots of helpful information. They responded quickly to any queries we had. We highly recommend this property and hope that we will be able to visit again sometime.

Beautiful setting, very welcoming people, we immediately felt very comfortable, for those who love flowers it is a real joy. Prehistoric, medieval, renaissance & 21st century come together in this amazing Dordogne property. When we first arrived, we enjoyed cooler weather & the walk up to the chateau. As summer temperatures outside climbed, we enjoyed our stroll down to the sparkling pool, where we took in views of the river, chateaux, the hanging gardens, the town below & hot air balloons drifting right over our rooftop. Complimentary walnuts, Monster Munch for the kids, & absolutely pristine, comfortable rooms set this place apart. We never got tired of looking out the windows/the balcony/the terrace/the pool. When we booked this home, I didn't realize that almost EVERY photo was of the property or had been taken from the property. (I thought that many of the images were just to showcase touristic opportunities, BUT THIS US WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE at Mont Joie!) This is truly a special place. The housekeeper Martine & her team were magnificent & big-hearted. Thank you, Vincent, for the best guide ever :)
