Exceptional place: spacious, clean, tastefully decorated, extremely well equipped, in a great location minutes from town center on foot. We highly recommend!! If you have a car, the parking is very good but not super close. If you have a lot of luggage or groceries, there is a no-parking zone in front of the building where you can pull over enough for cars to get by and quickly load or unload your car. To enter the parking structure, you have to use a keypad which is not located for use by the driver, so you either need a second person or you need to get out of your car. Again, there is enough space at the intersection of rue Fournier Sarlovèze and rue Louis Mie to pull over enough for cars to get by and quickly get out of your car and use the keypad. If you plan to do laundry, be aware that use of the washer and dryer is not allowed before 0900 or after 1900, so you may have to adjust your schedule. Also, the laundry room is adjacent to the apartment, not inside….

We had a great time with the family at the Dryer where nothing was missing. We were able to enjoy all our meals outdoors thanks to the covered terrace. The pétanque court is perfect as well as the heated pool. We were hosted very well. We'll be happy to go back!

Absolutely beautiful property in such a beautiful peaceful location. Although the building was traditional the inside was so modern large and well equipped. Stephane very good to respond to messages. A perfect position, a few minutes walk from the historic centre, and easy to come and go from. The home was comfortable with all the amenities we needed for our 4 day stay. We did not meet our hosts, but they were very helpful in sending recommendations for sites and restaurants in the area and very quick to respond to our questions. I would not hesitate to recommend this place as a perfect base for a stay in the Dordogne area.

Another wonderful stay at the Palais! I absolutely love this flat. It is the best place to stay in Périgueux, and my hosts Sophie and Ariane are warm, friendly, sport responsive and just lovely people.

Had a wonderful stay, within walking distance of Sarlat. Clean comfortable and well equipped apartment, maggie always on hand for information. All English channels on TV. Lovely small balcony to have breakfast, which smelt beautifully from the jasmine, Wine in the fridge on arrival very much appreciated. All in all a fab apartment which I would recommend.
