Monthly Rentals in Challacombe

Our stay at Madeleine and Jonathan’s place was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The thoughtful touch of a homemade cake waiting for us was such a delightful surprise and really set the tone for our entire stay. The space itself was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect for exploring the area, with great recommendations from Madeleine about local spots to visit. What truly made our stay special, though, was meeting Madeleine and Jonathan themselves. They are warm, genuine hosts who went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time. Their hospitality was exceptional without ever being intrusive. We’ve stayed at many Airbnbs, but this experience stands out as one of our favorites. We’re already looking forward to coming back! Thank you, Madeleine and Jonathan, for creating such a memorable stay and for that delicious homemade cake that made us feel so welcome from the very start.

We stayed for two nights on our honeymoon and it was perfect! The location is so peaceful and the hot tub is as a nice addition. We also used the spa, the plunge pool was an experience and the steam room was lovely too. The land is stunning and we went on a lovely walk with our dog. Kaye and her husband were lovely and gave us some local recommendations. Would definitely recommend!

This is a lovely apartment, on a beautiful estate, in a great location. The apartment itself is warm and comfortable, with lovely hot showers. The estate it’s part of is really special. Wandering around the lake and gardens in the evening in good weather is a real treat. The location is excellent for accessing the coastal path and Exmoor.

I booked with 24 hours notice and Lorraine responded immediately. After a 13 mile hike along the coast she was there to greet me with beer and a cream tea… I mean… life doesn’t get better than that!
