Keitele opens on three sides, there is a beautiful, spacious log villa on the peninsula, and another one closer to the beach. The villa has a kitchen, 2 bedrooms, a loft, a bathroom, and a sauna. The beach cottage has 1 room and a sauna. The hot tub is available with a separate agreement and weather permitting, a surcharge of 130 €/week. Amenities: electricity, microwave, refrigerator, stove, oven, toaster, running water from a borehole, fireplace. The place is available from the beginning of October to the middle of December and again from the end of February to the end of April.

Small sauna cabin on its own beach, "Hyväntahtonen"

A small and modest beach cottage is located about 2 km from the main road, on the border of Pihtipudas and Viitasaari. Enjoy a sauna, a swim and some rest, even if it's just for a stopover, or stay a little longer! You can stay in the loft and in the cabin. Air-source heat pump and fireplace. Wood-fired sauna. Tap water is drinkable. A clean outdoor toilet in an outbuilding, with a new ecological and hygienic flushing toilet seat. You have a gas barbecue and a rowing boat at your disposal. The basic booking includes the making of one double bed for two people.

Cottage on the shore of Lake Hako

Electrified cottage with a good lake view. Large terrace, summer kitchen, outdoor sauna, fire pit (by agreement), several campfire sites, gas stove, gas grill, refrigerator and a small freezer compartment. Space for a group of 6 people. There is a rowing boat with an electric motor. Running water from the lake. (There is drinking water in a canister in the cottage.) The sauna has electric travel showers. Come unwind in a peaceful and cozy cabin with family, friends, or even a small work team. The cabin is in a quiet location, but still close to the activities and hustle and bustle of Himoksa. The nearest downhill ski slopes are about 3 km away, and the ski resort is about 6 km away. On weekends, you can visit Himos Arena to listen to artists and enjoy the great atmosphere. In the summer, there is a swimming spot about 300 meters away, so it’s easy to go for a morning swim. There’s plenty to do all year round!

Fairy tales on the forest lake

A typical Finnish cottage (55.8 sq.m) was built in 1972 and completely renovated in 2014, preserving the authentic atmosphere. The nearest shop or gas station is 25 kilometers away. We live behind the forest 200 meters from the cottage all year round. The location of the cottage is unique in that, on the one hand, you feel complete freedom and privacy, on the other hand, we are always around and ready to help and communicate if you wish. Our plot and garden are always open to our guests.
