Sauna cottage in the yard

Come and have a relaxed holiday in our small, idyllic sauna cottage located in the yard of our single-family home by the lake. Trails and jogging trails are just a couple of hundred meters away, and the distance to Himos is only about 6km away. The cottage has its own toilet with a shower (for the lower body) and a basic kitchenette. There is a gas grill in the yard. Note!!! There is no shower in the cottage. Washing can be done using traditional methods. Tent sauna is included in the price. The use of the large sauna is charged 15 e. Feel free to reach out!

Sauna cottage by the lake on the beach

A small and atmospheric sauna cabin on the shore of a clear-watered lake offers a wonderful escape from everyday life. The property has a sandy beach and a swimming pier. You also have access to a sauna, a rowing boat and an outdoor terrace for cooking and dining. The sauna house has a fireplace and an electric heater, so you can stay overnight even in cooler weather. There is room for four guests, as there are two places to stay in the sauna loft and a sofa bed that can be spread down. An outdoor toilet can be found behind the sauna room.

Guest house with its own beach

The guest house is in a great location on the shore of Lake Päijänne. You have a comfortable room with a large, covered terrace, a private swimming area, a barbecue, a shower and a toilet. Possibility to rent a beautiful beach sauna. Beautiful landscapes for a big back. In winter, the ski trails start from the yard and there is an open hole in the ice on the beach. Nearby nature trails, Himos, Saunakylä, Petäjävesi's old church, Aalto Museum. A short distance to the main road and bus stop, you can also get there by public transport.

Hirsimökki Hietanen

Hietanen is a log building for summer use, which was moved in the 70s to the Hietasalmi peninsula between two lakes. There is a sandy beach at the tip of the cape. The forest areas around the plot belong to the Vehkala farm. The terrain is a rolling, small-scale moraine land that in some places turns into rock or wetter pressures. Nearby you can find all the forest types. There's no real swamp in the area. A boat route passes through the strait from Vesantojärvi towards Rautalampi. The waterways are particularly good paddling.

Pihakammari (winter habitable)

Pihakammari is located in the vicinity of Alvar Aalto's home; Aalto's experimental house and Säynätsalo municipal hall are 2-3 km away, Muurame church 7 km from the accommodation. The experimental house can be seen along the ice route. The accommodation has a kitchen equipped with dishes, a coffee and kettle and a microwave, as well as a refrigerator. Breakfast supplies are for you, go ahead. Traditional Finnish yard sauna for rent in the summer, with swimming in the lake. There's no wifi in the chamber.

This newly-built guesthouse with comfortable amenities is located in a the middle of old-growth forests, with a private bay and a calm lake with sunset view. It is a place “to adopt the pace of nature”, with the sound and sight of forest’s floral and fauna. During your stay, you can enjoy sauna with scent of solid wood, dipping in the lake, fishing, SUP boarding, rowing boat, picking berries and mushrooms. Relaxing in hot tub/palju in this landscape is truly a unique experience.
