Rosemary's Nest is awesome! The view off the front porch is a different movie every night. Old Rag, White Oak Canyon and the Skyline Drive are about 40 minutes away, Culpeper is 16 miles away. I suppose we were a little different type of guests, as we stayed ~six months. I was there to recover from a full hip replacement and the steep-ish driveway was perfect for physical therapy. Rosemary and Joe became like family, kept an eye out for us and they invited us upstairs for many delicious dinners and a Civil War quiz. If I have to get my other hip done in the next year or so, we certainly will be returning!

If you’re looking for a gorgeous place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and disconnect for a while, this is THE spot! You can have it all, both the disconnection from busy life and a short drive into town for incredible restaurants and shopping. Your hosts have put so much thought and consideration into making your stay incredible—from amenities to fresh muffins, snacks, coffee, and waters. This is clearly a really special place they’ve carefully curated to ensure you have the best time possible. We loved our stay and hope to make it a routine spot.

Super clean and organized. Has absolutely everything you need. Will definitely stay here whenever we make the trip south and back again.

Had a great quick stay while in the area. Definitely bring a pad to sleep on with your bedding and pillow. Bathroom facility was clean and convenient. Air conditioning unit worked well. Very quiet, peaceful area.
