Nestled in a cove on Lookout Shoals Lake, Mallard Cottage is a small bungalow raised on piers to elevate it above ground level. This provides a special view of the lake that is as beautiful in the morning as the evening. Our yard is fenced with gates as we are pet and kid friendly. The exterior was updated in the past two years and the interior has just completed a full remodel....it is very fresh, open, and welcoming. The lake side has two large glass doors that give a full view from anywhere

It has a heated indoor pool so even in the winter time you can enjoy the water with view of the lake. There is a dock as well. So if you happen to want to enjoy the lake, you can. Our home is located in a quiet cove on Lake Hickory with great water views and a deep water dock with plentiful spaces for relaxation and family time. The cottage has room to sleep 10 with 3 bedrooms and one bonus room with bunk beds. Both the indoor and outdoor dining areas can sit up to 10 people for meals and entertainment. The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessities. Bonus of hot tub, paddle board, floats, gas grill, charcoal grill, fire pit and an outdoor shower (seasonal).
