Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Catawba County

Megin’s place was an absolute delight! My family and I enjoyed every moment in this house. This place was exceptional and it over exceeded our expectations. The host was great, the place was super clean, and we felt right at home. It was great for entertainment and family gathering. I highly recommend this house for anyone. We loved it!

My family and friends just spent the weekend in Melanie's home in Mooresville, NC, and we were very happy with the location and the house itself. The house is clean and in very good shape. Melanie sent all instructions ahead of time, and she responded quickly when I had a question. The kids had fun with all of the games and activities that the house offers. I'm happy to recommend this house and Melanie as a host.

This was perfect for our small family reunion. We rented a boat (which was magical) and enjoyed the lake every day. We had a few minor problems but they responded immediately. One was the lock on the front door, and the other was with the android pad…but it all got worked out. Thankfully they responded immediately to phone calls. The house was very clean and the best supplied Airbnb I’ve ever been to. They even left us all the ingredients for S’mores, popcorn and a bottle of wine. Couldn’t have asked for more. There were 3-4 thermostats in the house which kept the temp nice and comfy for everyone. My kids and grandkids loved the movie room and we had lovely backdrops for our photo shoot. The dock was covered and convenient. The kayaks needed cleaning but with the boat, we didn’t end up using them. The hosts were wonderful and easy to communicate with. Loved this house and will rent from them again (possibly a smaller house).

Our family vacation was wonderful! We had a great time enjoying the lake and boating. It’s a very private, peaceful area, which we appreciated. Host was wonderful! Would recommend!

Wonderful place to enjoy the lake. From the hot tub, fire pit and kayaks we enjoyed it all. We fished from the dock, some catching their first!! The optional pontoon boat rental was icing on the cake! We made great family memories.

The host was very responsive and also gave helpful recommendations ahead of our stay. Anytime we had an issue, I knew I would get a response from her within a few minutes of texting. One of her recommendations was a boat rental from a guy named John. He was excellent to work with and very accommodating by bringing the boat directly to the house, and then picking it up again later. He was also very responsive to our messages! We did have a couple of minor issues both with the electricity in the house and with the delivery of the boat, but both the host and the boat company were outstanding in resolving those issues and making the situation right! I would highly recommend both of these people!

My friends & I enjoyed this stay overall. We were celebrating my 40th birthday, & the house definitely served that purpose in many ways. It's very big & spacious, many cozy rooms with very comfy beds, & of course the best part of the property is the SPECTACULAR view of the lake, no matter where you're in or around the house. Also really loved the sun room but was disappointed we mostly couldn't use it at night because it was too cold out and the space is not well-insulated or heated. We tried to use space heaters, but that mostly didn't work. There were a few other issues throughout the house, like a few of the sunroom panes being off their track and seemingly impossible to put back on, a broken freezer handle, big speakers throughout the common areas that mostly didn't work, string lights in the sun room that were partially out and the main light out there not coming on, & the stove requiring stainless steel pots and pans to work. Otherwise, a great spot & getaway. I would come back.

LOVE LOVE LOVE. I can't say enough how wonderful this rental is. The photos does not due the property justice. This vacation exceeded my expectations tenfold. The vacation included my parents and my 11YO border collie. My border collie loves swimming but is older and not able to jump from the dock, however was able to use the beach with ease. Loved going on a morning walks down the street littered with amazing lake views from both sides of the peninsula then using the fire pit in the evenings by the lake. We ended up night fishing with great success; my dad caught 20 fish in one night! As for local recommendations, we followed the dinner recs to the letter without disappoint. The only negative, besides going home 🙄 , was the living room furniture isn't the most comfortable as the couch is a bit lower than typical. However, this was very minor as our main places to lounge revolved around the lake and outdoor features. Overall, I have no regrets and will definitely return

The home and its views were spectacular. We had 15 of us (which included 6 grandchildren ages 8 and under—and they too had a blast—even though one day was rainy. There was so much for them to do in the basement. You could not ask for a better place to stay—especially when you have a crowd like we did. I would book the property again without any hesitation. Thank you for making this special family gathering so memorable.

Great home we truly enjoyed this beautiful home. Even though it snowed we couldn't do anything outside the house. The house kept us occupied with all the amenities. The jacuzzi, wrap around porch, game room was definitely a plus. Every room had a TV. The kitchen was the gathering spot, enough space of 14 of us. Perfect summer home and will definitely return

This was our second stay at Andrew's, and it was just as amazing as the first. The house is always perfectly clean, and has every amenity that we need. The views with the 360 windows make you feel like you're in a tree house, and the skylights are amazing at night for looking up at the stars. The hot tub is super clean, easy to use, and completely private with a perfect view of nature. There are so many awesome hikes in the area, and we love stopping at the Mercantile a few minutes down the road for meals. 10/10. Will definitely come back as much as we can!

This home met all of our needs and accommodated all of our wants, from the home itself to the hot tub and firepit! Central to many outdoor activities and very accessible. Just a tip, Apple Maps wasn’t as accurate as Google maps. Be sure to check the address Apple Maps selects. Eric was accessible the whole time and we had a great trip.

Very cozy and comfortable. Loved the peaceful setting. Very well stocked with everything we needed and then some. Will definitely visit again!

Our family had the absolute best experience staying at Debbie’s incredible cabin this past weekend! We gathered to celebrate my father’s 70th birthday with kids and grandkids, and we truly could not have pulled off such a memorable and successful weekend without this amazing home. The cabin itself is breathtaking — spacious with three floors to spread out, a pool table that kept everyone entertained, tons of board games for family time, and a hot tub overlooking one of the most stunning mountain ranges we've ever seen. Being the very last house at the end of a mountain road made it feel incredibly private and peaceful — exactly the atmosphere we were hoping for. That kind of seclusion is rare and made all the difference. Everything in the house was in perfect working order — you can tell Debbie takes great care of the property. From start to finish, her communication was fantastic. She was responsive, thoughtful, and quick to take action on anything we needed. 1 MILLION STARS!!!!!!

Poplar Den was so peaceful and made for a relaxing weekend!

5 star stay - the location was about as perfect as you can get for outdoor adventures, and the cabin was exactly what we needed. The space was clean, has all amenities you’d need but the outdoor space is where the magic is at. The outdoor shower is really awesome and it was nice to be able to use the sauna as well. Highly recommend Babel Tower hike for a great view.

Our 2 night stay was great and peaceful. Would definitely reserve again. Highly recommend this home for a nice getaway.
