Holiday rentals with lake access in Catawba County

Perfect home on the lake for us while in town for a long weekend! We will book again next time we are in Hickory!

Lisa was a very responsive host and we appreciate that the property is dog friendly! The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary items for our stay and the bathrooms were pristine. It's a new home, so everything is spotless and comfortable. The host lives on site, but we barely heard them while we were staying there.

This beautiful home was perfect for our wedding guests for a busy wedding weekend. We loved sitting out on the spacious deck overlooking the water and visiting with everyone. Just a short distance from Chickadee Hill Farms if you’re looking for a good place for your out of town guests.

Egrets Escape was perfect for our short stay in Lake Norman. As with most lake areas, you’ll find that miles on a map equates to much longer times on the roads to get anywhere but this place was conveniently located not far from a Publix in an easily accessible area. While the place is small, it has everything you need, whimsically designed and was absolutely spotless!! It was beautiful to just sit outside by the lake. We took the canoe out briefly, caught a very small fish with the baby rod provided 😄 and cooked out on the blackstone. We really appreciated the little coffee bar upstairs. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay, we had so much fun with the kayak, paddle boards, swimming off the dock! The house is beautiful and had everything we needed!

Very cozy home on the lake. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t very cooperative but we enjoyed our time and the home. The inside of the home is very clean, spacious, and accommodating. The outside could have used a bit more cleaning, but it had been raining a lot and I’m sure that contributed to the dirt along the decks and outdoor furniture.

I have to say we travel cross country and have been staying in cabins and homes for years, this is one of the best! I could live in this home, it's perfect, everything was immaculate. Fully equipped kitchen that had everything you need. The view is beautiful on the lake, its a quiet off shoot of Lake Hickory a few boats and jet ski traffic but extremely quiet. The master bedroom is extremely large with a huge bathroom and walk in shower, there is also a large 2nd bedroom with attached full bath plus a half bath off of great room area. Hosts both Wendy and Tina are the best! when we arrived I messaged Wendy if there was a Kurig, wasn't a show stopper for us there were 2 drip machines, a while later Wendy stopped by to make sure everything was OK and found the Kurig for me. Tina also responded immediately about a check out question I had, Perfect Customer Service! We had a wonderful stay here and will definitely return again, next time for longer.

Wow, what a location right by the lake! We absolutely loved this accommodation. its tastefully decorated, calm, peaceful and private. the living space is sociable and the front porch allows you to enjoy the view of the lake, the birds and just the wonderful peaceful atmosphere. there are kyaks and paddle boards and a beautiful dining area on the jetty. Comfortable beds, pretty linen, great bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen make it feel top end. Clearly this place is loved by the owner and we recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil stay. we came to Charlotte for the Speedway but we're so happy we got out of town to explore the countryside and enjoy Lake Norman. Downtown Moorseville is about 20 mins away and was a lovely place for a bit if shopping and some nice coffee ☕️ Thank you Patricia. we highly recommend your beautiful place at Tranquility Cove x

Karen was helpful in sending recommendations and communication regarding the impact of Helene on the area. Always answered questions and put us at ease. The suite was beautiful and the amenities were nice and the views were great. Instructions were helpful. I would highly recommend this suite

Wonderful cozy stay . Everything was as advertised! Fishing on the lake was my favorite part.

Beautiful setting with lots of things to do. Dogs are great. Lake is lovely. Kayaks are nice. Lore cared a lot that we were happy during our stay.

Nice apartment with all the amenities you need. Comfortable bed. Beautiful views of the lake and nice balcony. Can walk to Davidson city center from the apartment which takes about 30 minutes. We had a great stay, would recommend.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The unit had anything you could possibly need. Was great not having to run to the store to get this or that as they already had everything available. Very clean!

Lisa and David were exceptional hosts. Lisa communicated with me many months prior to my father’s stay and was exceptionally kind. She went as far as to speak with me on the phone. The home was immaculate and the style was current with clean lines, plush pillows and was extremely inviting. The area in which the home is located is safe, quiet and private. Access to town (as my father cannot drive) was perfect walking distance to coffee shop, diner, restaurants, town green, library and the college campus. Perfect stay. Perfect hosts.

What an amazing place to stay! Every detail of this house was thoughtfully planned and decorated and included everything you need to make yourself at home. The kitchen and open area living space is fantastic with all amenities to create delicious meals while still hanging with family and friends. Very spacious and comfortable. Loved the lakeside deck, the screen porch and extra entertaining space under the main level with a grill. The lake has beautiful views from both the house and dock, great for boating or just relaxing. Thank you for making us feel right at home! We can’t wait to visit Hickory again!❤️

Beautiful property! Ideal proximity to Rock Barn Spa & Golf and great restaurants (Fourk!) but so private and peaceful.

Had an amazing stay at the cottage. Plenty of outdoor activities to take part in, including easy access to the lake! Earl was a great host. He was friendly and responsive, and proactive in his communication. Would recommend to anybody looking to stay at Lake Norman!

After Hurricane Helen damaged my home, my insurance placed me in Ron’s property and it turned out to be one of the best experiences I’ve had. The home is immaculate, beautifully designed, and fully stocked with everything from cleaning supplies to spices. It truly felt like home. Ron is incredibly kind, responsive, and attentive. He replaced a driveway light and changed the BBQ gas the same day I mentioned them. The house is pet-friendly, which was a huge plus for my daughters, our dog, and our cat. The hot tub, pool table, dart board, and lakefront setting made every day peaceful and fun. It’s rare to find a place this clean, cozy, and well cared for, with hosts who genuinely go above and beyond. We’re so grateful for the comfort and joy this stay brought us during a difficult time. This is a hidden gem I’d recommend to anyone without hesitation. Thank you, Ron, for everything!

Very nice place. Came with everything you’d ever need and very modern. Nice little things you notice that just makes the stay so much better, like a heated towel rack. They were rebuilding the dock during our stay so we couldn’t really spend the beginning of the day outside due to the construction equipment and men working but it was nice outside all day so we got to spend the afternoon playing with kids in the yard and water. Super close to a lot of grocery stores, gas stations and activities. Perfect place for a family get away!

This place is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and just what our family needed. So grateful that we were able to bring our sweet dog too. Our son is way into fishing-the dock was exactly what we were looking for. LeeAnn is an incredible host, answered any and all questions and the place was exactly as she described. We already know that we will be back and can’t wait to plan our next visit.

This home was a perfect place for our family with plenty of room! The views were breathtaking, location was peaceful and close to everywhere we needed to be, stores, and restaurants we love, while visiting our hometown and family, for my niece’s HS graduation! The Hosts were very attentive, responsive, & accommodating to our questions and requests! We enjoyed spending time with family sitting out by the firepit, playing games, and corn hole, we even rented a pontoon boat for a day! The kids loved swimming by the dock, using the water foam to play on, and the kayaks! Thanks for letting us make wonderful memories in this beautiful home!

We had a wonderful stay at the Tiny Homes of LKN. We will absolutely be back to visit. It was very clean, and we had a great time at the pool and kayaking every night. Tip-bring an eye mask as the sun comes beaming into the bedroom in the morning, and maybe ear plugs for the road noise.
