Waterfront holiday rentals in Capital Region of Denmark

We were very warmly welcomed and were shown the beautiful surroundings on a small tour of the grounds by Tina. The accommodation is very comfortable and lovingly furnished and offers plenty of space. The apartment is flooded with light through large glass windows and glass doors. There is a cozy seating area outside right in front of the living-dining area with a large table to eat there. We enjoyed the peace and the enchanting polyphonic bird concert. Tina and her husband are very friendly and helpful. In the morning, Tina hung delicious croissants on the door. We felt wonderfully pampered all around! This place offers a great starting point for excursions into nature in the immediate vicinity, but also for activities in Roskilde and Copenhagen. Great, clean apartment with a fully equipped kitchen and beautiful views. A grocery store and large shopping mall are very close by. I'd recommend using the ferry to explore the city; you can easily spot the ferry deck from the balcony. Highly recommended!

What a fun place to stay! The charm of the old building, the elegant interior style of the apartment, and being able to just walk out the door and be right in the middle of an exciting part of Copenhagen made for a perfect weekend stay. Claus was an excellent host, and the apartment has everything you need for a comfortable, as well as fun, visit. Highly recommend.

Initially was torn between this place and another when booking this trip but so happy we chose Idas place. Absolutely stunning home that is incredibly close to city center and walkable to tons of fun places. Check in was seamless and Ida and Thomas were able to help get us in early which helped A TON after traveling all morning. Would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone traveling to Copenhagen that wants a very cool spot to stay.

This is a great place in a superb location. You can’t get anything better directly in Nyhavn. The view from the balcony facing Nyhavn (there are 2) is simply astonishing. From here you can walk anywhere you want (or cycle if you prefer). It’s also easily accessible from the Airport; the M2 Line.get’s you in walking distance (6min) from the apartment. We simply loved the place and area and hope to be able to come back at some point.

We loved our stay in Møn and the guest house was an important part of our experience. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

We have been very good in accommodation, it has everything you need to spend a few days near Copenhagen, very good communication with the center and with supermarkets and places to dine very close by. The views are breathtaking and the little things to improve were communicated and talked to the owner, thank you for everything Morten!

We had two nights in the cottage and enjoyed it to the fullest! The house itself is really nice and it is located on top of a small hill, so the view of the water and nature is extra nice. We enjoyed the short walk down to the water, we went to Lynæs and experienced the beautiful landscape on the way and fished on the pier and ate ice cream in Lynæs Harbour. It was really nice and a really nice harbour. We were also in Hundested and at the "Sandfestival" and eating ice cream at the "Issalonen" - both can certainly be recommended. Thank you very much for lending us your lovely cottage. We'd love to come back another time.

We had the best holiday at Karin's and from start to finish it has just been a pleasure to rent Karin's home. She is so sweet and welcoming as a host and the cottage is so cozy and idyllic. Can only recommend this cozy home and lovely host! :-)

We spent 4 very nice days on Bornholm with Oliver and Kristin. The view from the terrace or from the windows is unique, over the green meadows and fields to the sea. In the morning, you will be tickled awake by the sun and in the evening, you can watch the sunset. It is a bit remote, but also very quiet. Gudhjem or Sandvig and Sommerhus are easily accessible by bike, otherwise you will certainly need a car to explore the area. The apartment is equipped with everything you need and the beds are comfortable. Oliver and Kristin are very friendly and also give good tips. We would book the apartment again anytime.

This is a happy house, in a lovely location. Everything is clean, it is well organized for large groups, the kitchen is well stocked, it is comfortable and relaxed. There are many games and puzzles, attesting to the frequent presence of grandchildren. Even at the height of winter it was warm and cozy, and the nature in this part of bowling home cannot be beat.

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay in this beautiful apartment in a peaceful location. The apartment is quite large so we had lots of space to move about and store our belongings, and the unit is well appointed and comfortable. The floors are wooden and one main section somewhat squeaky so the first couple of nights we were waking each other up walking to the kitchen or bathroom, but we quickly adjusted and otherwise slept well. Because we were jet lagged we also found ourselves looking for restaurants open after 10 pm, but these were difficult to find because, it seems, Copenhagen restaurants don’t stay open late and the location isn’t in the midst of all of the action. We adjusted by purchasing groceries and snacking. Otherwise the walk along the lake to the metro or other locations was beautiful, and Eva is a gracious, responsive and accommodating host.

Really a lovely time in the beautiful home! Everything worked and was as described. Can only recommend, and will gladly come back :)

We stayed for a month and the apartment was perfect for our needs. It is light and bright with beautiful views from both balconies. I especially liked the location because it was within walking distance to Fisketorvet, a nice shopping spot with a couple of grocery stores, restaurants and shops, as well as a short walk to both the metro and the harbor bus. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. I would definitely recommend staying at Toke’s place and will stay there again the next time I’m in Copenhagen.

Thoroughly delightful stay. Apartment was bright and airy, wonderful harbor view, well equipped kitchen and bath, comfortable bed, lots of supplies on-hand. Host was instantly responsive and available, good printed instructions and info on the premises. Close proximity to two supermarkets and to public transit. Wonderful pedestrian bridge to other side of inlet. Would stay here again.

Perfect stay in this beautiful apartment. The view was splendid and the apartment very nice. The city is accessible by taxi boat or bike. The amenities are functional I recommend

The flat is spacious, clean and has all the necessary amenities. A bus stop is very near and it is easy to go to the centre. The views from both sides is spectacular!

Claus's place was clean, quiet, and well-equipped -- perfect for our small family (my wife and I stayed with our 1-year-old son). It's literally steps from the lake and close to some nice restaurants and cafes, though a bit of a walk (about 15 min) to the nearest metro station. Claus was always friendly and responsive, and his clear instructions made check-in easy. Highly recommended for anyone looking to stay in a quieter area just outside the hustle and bustle of the city center.
