Awesome home and host!!!! Definitely a hidden gem that’s very close to the beach!!

we had a very good stay! The place was very close to a few museums and within a 15 min drive to great restaurants and other attractions. The two bedrooms were perfect for a family traveling with children and the extra small child amenities were excellent!5/There were a few issues during the stay (WiFi went out and a small sink problem in the bathroom) but the host got them fixed immediately! I'd definitely book this property again!

My adult son said this was the best airbnb pick I'd made over the years! We rested AND had fun switching between pickleball, basketball, putting and kayaking. Kitchen was the perfect size and had all the basics for cooking a full meal. Beds were comfortable, roomy and every room had great views of the water and property. We loved everything about our stay

This Airbnb was perfect for a weekend getaway. The place was conveniently close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The apartment is pristine and I felt very comfortable and safe during my stay. The bed was very comfortable too!

Excellent stay. Allen was a pleasure to work with. Always responsive and quick. The place was spotless and had what we needed. The general store front door is adorable. I needed to have a work meeting through zoom while I was there and the internet was strong in the cottage. The town has spotty service. Thank you Allen. We would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Carla & Shannon’s place. Everything was neat and in order. The check in was super easy & flexible. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and walked around the town. They’re both very quick to reply back & we had a chance to talk with Shannon in person & she was super sweet.

House is very comfortable. Multiple places to relax, We also enjoyed short walks (10 min or less) to town, the beach, restaurants, and Central Park (dog and people friendly). Loved Cape Charles and Ryland’s house. Will be back.

Absolutely perfect vacation spot for a coastal getaway! We brought our dog and had a blast walking around town, to the beach, and enjoying the beautiful weather of Cape Charles. The neighborhood was quiet and in walking distance to everything in the historic downtown. The park across the street was beautiful and our pup enjoyed sniffing around! We will definitely be back.

Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful house, especially if you like a lot of room. Great location, close to the beach and restaurants, in a pretty neighborhood of historic homes. So charming. It might make you move to Cape Charles.

Nate was very responsive from booking , all the way through our stay. He was very flexible due to our circumstances and juggling vacation with 2 young children and 2 labradors. I would recommend this home to anyone with a family or pets as it offers the interior space that cape Charles historic homes lack while maintaining the same proximity to the town’s attractions.

VIP Cape Charles stay! You are literally steps away from the beach and can sit in your front yard and enjoy the most beautiful sunsets. The house was even better than pictured, comfortable, clean and very well stocked with items that made our stay even more convenient. Host was friendly, responsive and even had a box of cookies from a local bakery sent our way as an extra warm welcome. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this Cape Charles property.

I HIGHLY recommend staying at Casa de Coconut! The house is clean and comfortable. The kitchen is updated and very well appointed (with labeled drawers/cabinets and plenty of space for our food, which I appreciate)! It matches the photos and descriptions perfectly. It's an easy walk to the beach and literally one block to restaurants and the best ice cream shop ever. It has a great outdoor shower. We also recommend you rent golf carts for fun tooling around the town. Bradley is super responsive to any question and even accommodated us getting into the house a bit early on this trip when our plans changed. This is the second year we've rented this house (two families, each with 2 boys ages 8 and 11) and we will absolutely be back next summer!!

Cute and cozy, this house has unique and unusual features because of its age that make it an interesting place to stay. Loved the frog song from the wetlands in the neighborhood and the proximity to various waterways and scenic views.

Rachel’s place was wonderful. She provided clear instructions and the house was so clean and welcoming. Only complaint is her bathrooms only had 3-in-1 shampoo, conditioner, and body wash - if you plan on staying I’d advise to bring your own toiletries. Other than that everything was wonderful!

Gorgeous ocean views, great location, the balcony was the favorite spot the entire stay! Comfortable furniture, nice little cozy condo! Highly recommend the stay if you’re in the area!

Clean and Spacious for Four people. Great kitchen Space. But could use a better couch Seating in living room. Bedrooms. And beds were great. Would rent again.

What an amazing stay! I've never been satisfied with an Airbnb, the photos always are so much nicer than the reality - but Big Blue was actually even better than advertised! Merlyn's communication prior to arrival made things very easy. Accessing the unit was simple, and I felt safe with the self-locking doors. The unit was clean and so comfortable, with many personal touches - I instantly felt at home. I was overjoyed when I arrived and toured the unit. Really exceeded my expectations which was such a different feeling than all the other Airbnb I've rented over the years. The beach access was tidy and pretty, the gym and beach gear a nice touch, and the foot wash station was appreciated after my morning walks with the dog. I really can't say enough great things about my stay here. Hosts were friendly and helpful every step of the way. We mostly spent our time traveling around the area from VA Beach to OBX so I can't speak much about Norfolk/Ocean View. I would def rent Big Blue again.

This is truly a hidden gem in Cape Charles! We recently stayed for the long holiday weekend and loved every minute of our trip. The apartment is absolutely beautiful and the location couldn't be better. We enjoyed having the ability to walk around town and have stores and restaurants so close by. The host was friendly and helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. We look forward to staying here again!

Book this condo! It was the cleanest AirBnB I’ve ever rented but was still warm and comfortable. You can tell the condo is well taken care of. The neighborhood was charming. The pool was closed but the beach within the community was nearby and quiet. We were a short drive from Cape Charles town center and parking was a breeze. The host was incredibly accommodating; her restaurant recommendations were spot on. I wish we could’ve stayed longer!
