Beachfront holiday rental in Bude

We had the best weekend staying in Amanada’s house celebrating a birthday it was beautiful. The house is even more beautiful than in the photos & my 2 year old loved looking out to sea every morning seeing the birds. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much ☺️ one bonus for families thinking of booking that I did not see prior to our stay is the stairgate at the top of the stairs to the kitchen it was perfect with 2 young children we could shut this off.

Modern spacious flat in a great location. The facilities were excellent and we appreciated the private car park. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Hosts were really responsive and helped out with changes to dates. House was incredible and location was stunning. Really quite location and easy reach of all amenities. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again. Thanks to John and his team

We had a lovely stay in Alex’s great apartment -lovely views and the place was so well equipped and homely. Even our dog, Lola was thought of in the welcome package, with some dog treats. Would highly recommend.

A fantastic location, right in the heart of Boscastle. Space was comfortable and all that we needed. Outdoor space a real bonus and car parking. Easy access to local places of interest. Range of games and books were great, even a cricket bat. Easy access and check in. We will definitely stay again as often visit this part of Cornwall.

We loved our stay in this apartment. It's very close to a dog friendly beach and our Cockapoo Mollie loved running around on the beach every day. The apartment was fabulous, really clean and modern with a fantastic balcony area which we appreciated. Jamie was an excellent host and on hand if we had any questions. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

We had a lovely stay at Darren’s place. Great location with fab views! Was extremely clean and had everything you would need, and Darren’s was great and replied straight away. Would definitely return as we had a lovely time and kids really enjoyed it as everything was on the doorstep. Can’t fault anything really. Thank you for a memorable trip!

Morag was a very friendly and proactive host. The Studio was very clean and well appointed, it had a modern and well decorated look. it was only a 10 minute walk to the beach and is actually on the SW coastal path. A great stay

What a beautiful, stylish, beach-side appartment, with amazing views of the sea. We had a wonderful stay! The beds, furnishings, and all facilities are of excellent quality, making this a great place for a holiday. Annie is a wonderful Holiday Host, always so responsive and helpful, and even kind enough to reply straight away to a message we sent out of hours. Thanks Annie. We were welcomed with a lovely Devon cream tea hamper from Pebbles, who also ensured that the apartment, equipment etc, and bed-linens were pristine, and provided an iron within minutes. Thanks Pebbles. Great to have a dedicated parking spot right outside (Drivers: steep, windy road to South Sands makes the drive scenic but 'interesting'!) The apartment was fine for us for accessibility (wheelchair), having a lift right to the front door, and wide doors throughout. Recommend - Harbour Beach Spa (relaxing), Bo's cafe (beach vibe), Fortescue (friendly), SouthSands (dining), Coastal walks - and Devon beaches!

I booked this as a surprise birthday get away for my wife and our two young children and it was the most perfect place I could have ever imagined. The view from the balcony is incredible, especially the sun rise (thanks to my youngest we never missed) is something worth waking up for. The entire house was spotless and the bed was so comfortable! Mel gave very detailed instructions on how to find the home, as well as some fantastic local recommendations. Excellent communication right up to the booking and was very helpful with extras for the kids! The beach is only a short downhill walk away, even quicker if you jump in the pushchair with the kids. The beach is quite small but was perfect for us. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a Cornish getaway and would definitely book again!

Nicki’s apartment at Bigbury on Sea is just great. Well equipped, amazing views and in a beautiful part of Devon. Use of the indoor pool is amazing for kids, especially when the weather is a bit mixed! Nicki gave lots of info and recommendations which were super helpful. I hope to be back at Bigbury soon!

What a great find! This bungalow was lovely, comfortable, warm and homely. There was a games console and dvds (although we didn’t get chance to try them). The beds were really comfy. The views from the holiday village were amazing…Even on the most miserable of days. We stayed during half term, so there was a bit of kids entertainment on most evenings in the family bar, but even if there wasn’t, there are books and games galore, besides the outdoor ones. Limited food availability (very basic) but there is a lovely restaurant across the road in walking distance too. Close enough to travel to any other Cornwall sights. Would definitely stay again. Marcus's place was great for our visit to Cornwall. The apartment was very clean and in a nice building. Within walking distance to lots of restaurants and two beaches. When we got lost during check in Marcus was available over phone and he called us again later to make sure we got in okay. Very friendly!

Great home with outstanding facilities and location. Pool is a highlight, and hot tub right next to it which is great for when the kids get chilly! Fantastic playroom for them too. Boiling water tap for grown ups teas and coffee with good indoor and outdoor seating areas. Fun for all the family!

Great house in lovely location. Layout suited us well (2 families with kids and grandparents). Washing facilities proved very useful. Pool rota worked well and there was always a time available that suited us (open 8am-7pm). Host responded quickly. Lacking house guidance but not a problem and host responded to advise. Note access into house could be an issue for less able and push chairs-steep steps to front and lowest step broken away (advised host so this might get fixed). Rear access via steps and narrow sloping and muddy path. Parking to rear -you block in your other car. Parking spaces not spacious but adequate. We loved it thank you Beach Retreats!

We had an absolutely perfect stay at Naomi’s place with our two young children. The location is perfect - 5 min walk from the beach and literally a road away from the main strip of shops and restaurants. View is spectacular when having a cup of tea by the window! Use of the amenities at the nearby holiday park is a real bonus. Apartment was absolutely spotless, and had some really thoughtful extras, like a hidden doll house, some kids books and games. Thank you for a brilliant stay, we’ll be back!

WOW, WOW, WOW, and that’s just for the views, looking down Woolacombe beach from the balcony, over the sea to the isle of Lundy from the two large Velux windows in the kitchen/dining area, and gazing down the ruggedness of North Devon’s coastline from the 2nd/ TV, lounge. Also loved waking up to the dancing greenery, covering the rock face behind the two bedrooms. Didn’t really need the smart tv , only watched an hour or two, our whole week ( who needs to, when you have those views at the turn of your head ), we were also lucky enough to see three porpoises swimming across the bay ( take your binoculars, or the modern day equivalent, you don’t know what you may see ). Plenty of local restaurants to try out, if that’s your thing. Love cooking for friends when away, ( takes all-sort’s ). Kitchen at Puffin Cove, amazing, every size of pot and pan you could wish for and sharp knives. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Number Eight in Bideford, bit of a trek, but we’ll worth the drive out).

We loved Tom’s home! We felt more like guests rather than it being a holiday let. It was light, comfortable and in an amazing location with great views. The chug of the ferry soon became background noise and we enjoyed watching the passing boats. As a family home it had all we could ever need in the kitchen which was a great bonus. We can throughly recommend Hank’s Van for a delicious lunch with a twist on the usual sea fare and there are walks galore right from the doorstep. All together a great place to stay!

Had a great short break in Polperro, the apartment was exactly as described and Chris’s communication, instructions and recommendations were exemplary. Our fitness levels have certainly improved after walking backwards and forwards from the car park. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back again someday.

We had the most incredible stay at this property. The views alone were some of the best we’ve ever experienced, with the deck overlooking the sea. The beach is a short walk down the cliff side from the property (the walk back up is a workout to say the least, especially on a boiling hot day!) and a stroll across the sand couldn’t have been more peaceful. Christian was a great host and was quick to respond to any questions. This is the perfect place to switch off, with bedrooms with great views and a spacious living room and kitchen. The only thing we’d suggest is possibly bringing your own essentials, such as milk, butter and cooking bits as local shops are about a 15 minute drive. Overall we can’t recommend this place enough, we really needed to reset after a hectic few months and we finally managed to here for which we are so grateful.

We had a lovely couple of days in the bungalow. We booked it mainly for the views, and it did not disappoint - such a treat to be able to look out to sea all day! The bungalow was clean, comfortable and well-equipped, and communication from the hosts was excellent. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our week's stay at Louise's apartment in Bude, which was perfect for a couple. We enjoyed the seaside theme throughout the apartment, which was very clean, cosy and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed having a dedicated parking space right in front of the apartment. We walked around Bude and did not need to use our car until we explored further afield. It's close to everything. We really loved Bude, lots of places to eat and shops to meander round. The Bude beaches, sea pool and cliff top walks we thoroughly enjoyed. Surrounding areas are worth visiting:- Boscastle, Covelley and the 13th century Rectory Organic Farm tea shop to name but a few. Thank you Louise for a wonderful stay!

Beautfiul apartment in a lovely location. Perfect spot for a few days away with everything you could need within walking distance. Appledore is a lovely place and the apartment made the stay very enjoyable. Great host and very responsive. Will definitely be returning again!

Andrew was very helpful and his home was beautifully presented. Parking is super easy, it's clean, the balcony is great and what I also loved was the equipment for families. I didn't need them as I wasn't with my children. But there was a highchair, kids crockery and cutlery and buckets and spades. The rooms are very spacious, the kitchen appliances work great and the welcome package was really appreciated. I would very much recommend Andrew's home for any trip to Bude. it has lovely views of the beach, golf club and cricket ground. you're away from the hussle and bussle, although a five minute walk away from it. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.
