This spot was so beautiful. If you like farm animals and camping then you will like this cabin. Very rustic and peaceful. Carolyn was nice enough to give me a tour of the property and the animals. She provides snacks for you to feed them if you want to. You can even go in the gates and see the animals up close. There were alpacas, lamas, dogs, goats, lamb, chicken, donkey, and horses. I would compare this stay similar to camping in a tent in the woods…as there is no running water, no AC, limited cell phone service, and no WiFi. There are electrical outlets if you need to charge your phone and she did provide a heater. If you do not like camping in a tent then this cabin may not be for you. There was an outhouse and outdoor shower available. Overall, I would say this experience is waaaay better than camping with a tent because you get to stay in a wonderful handmade wooden cabin on a 50 acre property, my favorite part was seeing the animals. I would book this place again.

This was an amazing Airbnb experience from start to finish, in no small part because of our hosts kind attentiveness! It’s true, the home was SPOTLESS, stocked fully, and exactly as pictured/described, but the extras really made my birthday trip special. Honestly, it felt like staying with friends who welcomed our entire family, not a contracted arrangement who was merely tolerating us and our pets. From the “in case you forgot” basket, to the extra (clean, easy to find) linens, the ease with remote check-in/out, to the pet towels (SO helpful!), everything was tidy and felt like home. Easily one of our most relaxed vacations thanks to our host’s clear, simple, and warm communication!

The view was amazing and the cabin was fully renovated and furnished the way you would like. The mattress in the master was ABSOLUTELY HEAVENLY. EVERYTHING WAS PROVIDED TO A T. I only wish we could have had more time to stay. The only thing I can possibly say that needed improvement was the water pressure but that’s impossible to fix so I give it a 10 out of 10

Wonderfully peaceful location - hidden away in an ideallic location. The cottage was very well furnished and clean. The host, Susanne, was very helpful and responsive. The perfect place to unwind and relax. A great location for visiting Lake Oconee and the towns of Milledgeville, Eatonton, Greensboro and Madison.
