Our farm is located on a 5 hectare plot with sheep in the meadow, chickens in the garden, fruit trees and kitchen garden, lots of nature outside the door and plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling in the forest and local area. 19 minutes to Odense C, 10 minutes to Odense Å and 30 minutes to almost all corners of Funen. A perfect base for a wonderful holiday on Funen - whether it is the forest, the city, the beach or something completely different that lures you. PS: Super Wifi!

The house is equipped with 4.5 bedrooms and 10 sleeping places. 2 bathrooms plus guest toilet. Large terrace with views of own lake and woodburning stove in the living room. We have two exclusive apartments,decorated with genuine art and furnished with classic danish design. The apartments are ideal situated for exploring the life of HC Andersen and the rest of Funen.

Despite the proximity to Odense and the highway across Fyn, the annex 'Stærekassen' feels like a remote and hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. Enjoy the eagles gliding the skies, the heron fishing in the small lake, the many deer strolling the garden, the wealth of birds and the pheasant trying to impress the hens. Relax and enjoy the view over the soft hills and the forest of Hesbjerg. There os plenty of room for playing football, speedminton or basket.

The apartment has direct access to a 50 square meter rooftop terrace with a view of the beautiful Assistens cemetery and park. We are a family of 5 living in the ground floor. Our kids are 3, 6 and 10. There is access to our garden and trampoline, which you will share with us.
