Beach house holiday rentals in Brunswick

Had a nice stay at the Sunny Showers cottage. Very good location.. A block and a half to the public beach access, a 6 minute walk to restaurants like to Crab Trap and Barrier Island, and about a 20 minute walk (or very short drive) to downtown St. Simon's and the pier. Be sure to note that you bring your own beach towels here, and also the outdoor patio/parking area is smaller than it looks in photo, and I was barely able to park my truck there. But we would book it again!

This house was perfect for our group of 9! It was clean and had everything we needing for cooking for all of us! It was right by the beach access so made it easy and convenient to walk to the beach. Our host was very fast at responding for anything we needed! We had a slight issue with the washing machine but they had a technician on it immediately. It wasn't anything that could have been controlled just things that happen! The back yard is so nice. very nice sitting area with a fire pit and there was deer that walked right up to the fence and let the kids feed them right out of their hands! Also, it includes a pool pass to Holiday Inn pool, which is also a very nice pool! If we ever make it back to Jekyll we will stay here again!

Perfect getaway! Most of our trip we felt like we were on a private island. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves. The sunroom was the most used space, perfect for watching afternoon thunderstorms. Everything in the home was clean and comfy, we slept great! We had everything we needed there at the home. I look forward to coming back soon!

Amazing house! Perfect location. We loved staying at Mint Julep! The house and especially the backyard, pool area was so private and relaxing. The screened in porch was great for our afternoon coffee. We loved being able to walk everywhere; dining, shopping, the beach, and entertainment. Jessica was wonderful to work with. We will definitely stay here again. We love St. Simon’s island and the Mint Julep.

This was our second time at Jake's place and it will not be our last. The neighborhood is charming and the beach is a short walk away (and an even faster golf cart ride!). The house is clean and has everything we need. The little backyard is super convenient for our dogs. Highly recommend! Carla and Mike

What an adorable house! It was much bigger than I expected. There was room for everyone, plenty of parking, and the pool was fantastic!

We spent three nights for a quick family getaway. The location was excellent for just spending time together, which is what we were looking for. We have three children 6, 9 and 13 and they had a blast. We caught fish off the dock, as well as crabs, cooked local shrimp, and put two kayaks in the river for some fun. It rained while we were there a little bit, but nothing too long either way the house was perfect. We’re adding a cowboy pool to our backyard plan for our own house after our time there it was just the ticket for cooling off. If you like nature and you don’t mind being alone with your thoughts and yourself, this is the place for you. Everybody’s room was comfortable and it had most anything we needed. We will definitely book it again in the future.

We had a fantastic stay at The Grace Escape! Zach’s place is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. Everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location is perfect, tucked away in a quiet spot but still close to the beach, restaurants, and everything St. Simons has to offer. Thoughtful touches throughout the home made it feel extra welcoming, and Zach was an outstanding host: responsive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure our stay was perfect. We’d absolutely return and highly recommend The Grace Escape to anyone visiting the island!

Location was great. Walkable to shops and restaurants. Nice safe neighborhood. The bedrooms were spacious and each had its own bathroom and tv. Because this is someone's home there were a lot of interesting knick knacks but a little too much clutter. Overall I would recommend.

The condo is very nice and clean and smelled very nice. I liked the newer appliances and kitchenware. I appreciated how the bathroom had two doors, one from bedroom and one from the kitchen/living room area. The only small cons for me personally… was the bed is pretty firm ( which is harder on my 65 year old bones😊) and the curtains in bedroom are good but bedroom was still pretty light at night because of the outside lights from the other condos. I’m just accustomed to sleeping in pretty dark bedroom. Again, that’s just me. Location was great, short walk to pier, shops and restaurants.

Very responsive host. Beautiful well equipped place. We were sad to not have a grill but spoke with the host about it and weee able to have our own sent to the house. Had a mixup with pool heating and they resolved, apologized and fixed very politely. Loved our stay!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was exactly as listed - clean, comfortable, and easy to settle into. Access to the property was seamless, and overall, everything was smooth and enjoyable. Matt was proactive in reaching out before we arrived to ensure we had instructions upfront on entry and access and an immediate way to reach him if needed. Upon arrival, more detailed information/instructions were readily available (which is how we found out there were beach chairs we could borrow! Definitely saved us a trip to the store) and nothing overbearing for checkout - basic courtesy asks. The house had a small collection of books and puzzles that were perfect for relaxing during downtime. Location was ideal - a short drive to the beach, plenty of sidewalks to walk/jog, and lots of restaurants and shops nearby. We’d definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, clean, fully furnished, open plan, cozy and most perfect get away for our family! We will stay again! Decorated so beautifully and the kitchen was perfect for all of our family to eat and enjoy time together. The pool in the back is super clean and private. We had such a great time with our grandkids . It is not on the beach but a short distance to the beach and close to all the great restaurants. We love St. Simons! Thank you! Such wonderful host!

Janice's place was bigger than pics show. The interior was nicely furnished, and the kitchen was well stocked. The landscaping and backyard are amazing. If you are a cook at home chef, you will be surprised by the amount of cook ware and utensils available. We will definitely be considering a return visit in the fall.

We had a great stay on Jekyll Island. We didn’t get to the beach but enjoyed the pool. We had great bike rides on the islands 18 miles of bike trails. Enjoyed good restaurants and pubs. The unit was clean and met the description in the listing. Carnie was quick to respond positively to all our questions. Dan & Joan

Thank you for such an amazing stay! This was a wonderful beach cottage with beautiful private landscaping and koi pond that made drinking my tea and reading books in the early mornings completely peaceful. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower was very nice! It is an easy walk to the beach or downtown for restaurants! This was a perfect get away for our anniversary and I highly recommend this property for anyone wanting a great experience at St. Simons Island.

We have stayed multiple times on St.Simons, and this house has been the best yet. That saying 'you get what you pay for" holds true! The house was well stocked with everything from plenty of dishes/utensils to loads of extras like linens, beach towels, beach toys, bikes. The screened porch was where we spent every morning and the ability to hook our Bluetooth to the speakers in the house was a huge plus for this music lover! A easy 17 minute beautiful walk to the pier or a short drive- made all things St.Simons extremely accessible. I do recommend walking if able! It is flat and you aren't hunting for available parking during busy times. This was probably the cleanest rental we have ever encountered. We have already checked dates to return again to this house next year!

I had a great stay at Rebecca’s place! She was a very nice and accommodating host—super responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the visit. The house was clean, comfortable, and located in a quiet, pleasant neighborhood. I especially enjoyed the screened-in patio, which was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The location was also convenient and made getting around easy. Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area!

The home was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and well equipped with kitchen and bathroom supplies. The backyard was perfect for grilling on the Blackstone and enjoying a drink with the family while the dogs played. The home is nestled in a pretty neighborhood with a dog park close by. It is a short drive to the beach and restaurants (walkable for some). Wendy is highly responsive and went above and beyond to meet our needs. We hope to return to this fabulous property very soon!

We loved staying here. The house was amazing, spacious and clean! We absolutely loved the large backyard and pool was amazing! Walking distance to everything, gated community was really easy and private. This house is highly recommended! We will be back!
