De Oude Smederij

Enjoy and relax in the Frisian countryside? This is possible with us in De Oude Smederij, which was formerly a forge but has been completely renovated into a comfortable vacation home. The Oude Smederij is located in an agricultural area on the outskirts of the village of Arum (on the Elfsteden route) and is centrally located between Harlingen (on the Wadden Sea with ferry services to Vlieland and Terschelling), Franeker (Planetarium and Frisian Museum), Bolsward (Broerekerk) and Makkum, located on the IJsselmeer with boulevard and beach.

The Weidehuisje feels like a remote private paradise, but is surprisingly centrally located in Noord-Holland. Whether you want to cycle, hike, fish, spot birds, discover villages or just do nothing at all, this is the place to catch your breath.

Beautiful place to relax in Workum

This lovely apartment, located on the first floor, has beautiful views over the countryside, is right on the water and offers plenty of privacy. Through the front door, you enter a spacious hall where you walk up the stairs and enter the apartment. Through the hallway, you reach the bedroom with a comfortable double box spring bed. Opposite the bedroom is the toilet with the spacious bathroom next to it. At the end of the hallway is the spacious cozy living room with kitchen and also two sleeping places.

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Rural accommodation on the Frisian Elfstedenroute

Op loopafstand van het centrum van Bolsward, aan de Workumertrekvaart, de originele Friese Elfstedenroute, ligt onze landelijk gelegen boerderij. Wij bieden u in deze landelijke en waterrijke omgeving een royale kamer aan, die voorzien is van een groot tweepersoonsbed, (2x0.90), tv/zit-hoek en een geheel nieuwe badkamer met jacuzzi. Extra slaapgelegenheid is mogelijk. Deze nieuwe ruimte hebben wij gerealiseerd in onze voormalige koeienstal, die grenst aan onze privéwoning.

In watersportdorp Terherne aan het Sneekermeer. Het Kameleon avonturen park, cafe, restaurants en de mooiste kerk/trouwlocatie van Friesland om de hoek. U slaapt op de begane grond (2 sk + eigen badk.+eigen keuken+ eigen grote woonkamer (50 m2) met hoge plafonts en openhaard. eigen ingang. 3e slaapkamer is boven via het voorhuis. Buiten aan het water je eigen terras. Ook geschikt voor groeps werk met een grote werk tafel. Vintage dus mooi, oud en gezellig. Maar niet spotless.

It HavenNêst

This beautiful building has been completely restored in 2024/2025. This centrally located accommodation is tastefully decorated and is situated in the heart of Workum overlooking the harbor and the large church. All the shops, restaurants and museums are within walking distance. One of the most beautiful town squares in Friesland, "De Merk," is just a stone's throw away. There is a lot of parking space around the cottage. Even trucks are no problem.

Our "Beautiful Love" used to be the horse stable belonging to the centuries-old farm in which we live. In 2020, we transformed it together with a lot of love and passion into a tiny house with an old lived-in look. The green staircase leads upstairs to the beautiful loft with a 180x200 bed, with a double mattress and a double sheep wool duvet. Under the loft, you will find the beautiful bathroom and kitchen.
