The Hermitage has a lovely long sub tropical garden to walk through to the door, at night the strings of lights makes it so pretty. The accommodation was pristine, and scones, jam and cream were delicious. The bed was extremely comfy . Ideally based for the moors or coast, hopefully we will be able to stay again Thank you TJ

Sarah & Tommy upgraded our room which was lovely, very cosy clean and had everything we needed. We took our dog, most of the pubs were dog friendly so we took her out with us on New Year’s Eve. We visited Heaton court for a beautiful meal! Very relaxed and friendly people definitely stay again xxx

We've thorougly enjoyed our stay! Hilary ans Graham are the perfect hosts and know how to make their guests feel Welcome and at home. The flat was spacious and clean, the kitchen exceptionally well equipped (we've stayed at a lot of Airbnbs during the past couple of years and the kitchen at Hilary's really stood out, which made cooking for our family of four easy and fun!). Cereals, fruit,bread, milk,..were there on our arrival and were very much appreciated. The girls loved the little garden and playing outside. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, Hilary took the girls to the stables to visit the horse- they were absolutely delighted!! Hilary and Graham are very friendly and sociable without being intrusive. We'd love to stay at their place again!

We had a lovely stay at Simon's place. The location is really peaceful and set in beautiful surroundings. Simon is also a really friendly host and even though we know the area fairly well, he gave us lots of good suggestions for places to visit (our daughter also loved Fern the dog!). Would love to go back for a longer stay later this year.

Good location for exploring the areas beaches and plenty of walks from the house too. Lovely space, really nicely done and larger than I'd expected (plenty of room for a couple and dog)with comfy bed and amazing shower. Great to be able to make some simple food too. Sarah and Tommy were friendly and helpful hosts, and the room felt private and really comfortable. Thanks for having us. Overall a great stay

This accommodation was really good. Very clean and had everything we needed. It is in a convenient spot for staying in Braunton and exploring the area. Local amenities good. Kirstin and her family were very welcoming. We would certainly stay at Sandy Toes again if we were ever in the area in the future.

We had a lovely time here and it was better than we even expected. Despite being in close proximity to the main house, the accommodation was completely screened off and private. Very peaceful area. Lovely to have outdoor seating and sun loungers too - although we made the most of the gorgeous weather exploring the Cornish coast. Parking was no problem and it is a very short walk into town. Also a very nice Chinese takeaway just around the corner. We only stayed a couple of nights, but the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could need for a longer stay. The snack bowl and milk on arrival was a nice added touch too. Bed was comfy, good wardrobe and storage space and nice shower. Sarah was very communicative and offered flexibility with check in and check out times, which was very kind. All in all a lovely accommodation and great host!

We enjoyed our one night stay. Communication and breakfast were both excellent. The bed was really comfortable. Just a shame we weren't there longer. Thanks for a nice stay.

Such a neat and cozy place to stay! Within walking distance of all things necessary, quaint and quiet little private garden area, great for post-beach relaxing. Extremely well catered; Most certainly felt like a home away from home. Will love to be back soon

Great few days at Stephen’s place. Superb central location to visit different places in Devon and Cornwall. Site was quiet and the caravan was just right for what we needed.

We had a very nice time at Linda's place. It was in a good location with lots of places to visit without going too far. We really enjoyed being able to sit on the sofa and enjoy the birds coming and going on the feeder outside the patio door. The sofa and bed were very comfortable and the shower was really good too. Thanks Linda.

Communication with Gina was excellent from the outset both via the app and in person. This included detailed arrival instructions, meeting us in person and showing us around the property. The Studio was impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, fittings are of a high quality and very well equipped. We appreciated the Victoria sponge, shortbread and milk! The quiet location in the small village of Lee is amazing, with beautiful coastal and woodland walks from the door, taking in the surrounding areas of Mortehoe, Woolacombe and Ilfracombe. The Studio is within a ten-minute stroll of Lee Bay beach and five minutes from The Grampus, a characterful, independent pub. I would not hesitate to recommend this to family and friends and would certainly stay there again should it be available next time we visit the area.

Immediately received welcome message, directions & instructions from Neil & Rachel. Arrived at their countryside haven, to be greeted by a smiley Neil. Nothing was a bother, or if it was he certainly didn't show it! The grounds are beautiful. Definitely a labour of love. It's so peaceful & rural. The pool is bookable for sole use, & was warm & spotless. It was heaven being able to swim again after several months recovering from a knee op. Having the pool to ourselves was perfect. The accommodation is practical, not fussy. The garden can be seen from every aspect in the cottage. Watching the adult geese with young was so cute this morning. We didn't meet Rachel (next time!), however Neil was a fabulous, fun host. Def recommend staying here! We booked The King's Arms at Winkleigh for Sunday roast. Crazy huge portions & good value. Leaving Redhays, to sadly go home, we had late breakfast at The Tallet Cafe (at Sam's Cider), Winkleigh. Really nice place for breakfast, and lunches/cakes.

Lovely stay for a few days of walking in the area. The apartment has everything one might need and the two bedrooms and bathrooms and kitchen are newly renovated and well cared for by the owners who live downstairs. Small touches such as milk and scones on arrival are very helpful.

Rosie was an excellent host. Quick to respond and helpful recommendations. Place in the heart of the village convenient for my stop over on the way to Lundy.

We had a wonderful stay here. The rooms were beautiful and so were the surroundings. We would definitely like to return. Thank you for our lovely stay!

Had a fabulous stay we stayed an extra night so we could have Sunday Roast at local Pub which was the best we had on our 4mth trip around the whole of UK. Lovely friendly hosts and would thoroughly recommend.

This certainly is a quirky studio but Nicola has thought of everything- from a really comfy bed to great shower to bath robes - all set in the beautiful Devon countryside. Would recommend as long as you are mobile given the bed is set on a mezzanine floor.

A 'must' return it was a privilege to stay in such a great place . I would not hesitate to recommend the studio as an escape, with access to town, countryside and of-course the sand/ sea / surf. I've stayed in many locations and properties and this is top of the list of 'must' return.
