Rosemary's Nest is awesome! The view off the front porch is a different movie every night. Old Rag, White Oak Canyon and the Skyline Drive are about 40 minutes away, Culpeper is 16 miles away. I suppose we were a little different type of guests, as we stayed ~six months. I was there to recover from a full hip replacement and the steep-ish driveway was perfect for physical therapy. Rosemary and Joe became like family, kept an eye out for us and they invited us upstairs for many delicious dinners and a Civil War quiz. If I have to get my other hip done in the next year or so, we certainly will be returning!

Staying at WidePine is our family happy place. This is the third year we have planned an April weekend to enjoy this lovely home and its peaceful surroundings. The home is nicely decorated, very comfortable, and has everything you could want as far as amenities. We loved sitting on the deck or screened in porch to relax and enjoy the scenery, and our young kids and dog loved exploring the creek and fields. We also enjoyed traveling into Sperryville and visiting a local brewery. Patrick is a very responsive host and provided us flexibility in our departure time which was greatly appreciated. We have all agreed that next year we want to make it a three day weekend.

Barbara was so helpful. What a peaceful stay for our family. The farm tour was amazing. The post cards were an added bonus. We were there for a memorial service and there was plenty of space.

K-9 heaven was great! Very peaceful and beautiful scenery. Me, my partner and our lab were comfy in the small but cozy, clean cabin. The cabin is simple but homey! Larry had a little bit of spare firewood that was just enough for us to enjoy a small fire and some star gazing. It was little to cloudy for us to see much, but I can guarantee it would be amazing with clear skies! We had some rain on our last night and it was very relaxing and peaceful! 10/10 vibes. Our furry host, Bear, was very friendly with our dog and showed her around the farm. The horses near the cabin are friendly and love peppermints! Definitely check this place out as a home base for exploring Shenandoah National Park and Culpeper for tasty restaurants!
