Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Bortelid

We stayed at Marco's place for a week over New Year's Eve. We were there with four adults, one child, two toddlers and a dog. The place was very cozy and above all big enough for all of us. It was clean and everything important in terms of amenities was on site. The view was incredibly beautiful (especially from the jacuzzi) and the nature around it perfect for walking. We felt comfortable and what can be emphasized very positively was the communication with Marco. He was always friendly and always easily accessible. We just found it a pity that the firewood was not included in the price, as we know this from other accommodations and that some things were distributed outside (dishwashing brush, mop, grill grate). We were a little surprised, but didn't bother us. So it's complaining to a high standard. If the world wasn't that big, we would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay at this place! It is very spacious and cosy, everything we needed. It is a peaceful place and we could do some beautiful hikes in the area. The communication was great, the host answered our questions very quickly. We can totally recommend it😊

A nice house with character. Rustic maybe a bit outdated. But it doesn't always have to be the latest frills. Everything you need. The only thing we found inconvenient was the access to the house. Parking across the street from winding road with no speed limit. There are mirrors but we were always a bit queasy when parking out, as the road is quite busy.

We had a really good stay at Karin and René's coziest cabin in Øvre Ramse. The most relaxing cabin, overlooking the most beautiful lake and in beautiful nature far from city life. The impressive mountain and the waterfall that you could hear at the house is so beautiful. There are beautiful and good hiking routes close by or a little drive from the cabin, we had a 3 year old on a trip. Their Youtube videos are easy to follow.

Stayed here several times. Would love to come back, both on business trips and private trips. Judith and Bouke are very welcoming and sympathetic. Wonderful view from the terrace.

Great cottage for money! Very nice surroundings! The cabin contained everything necessary, have a nice trip as a barbecue and fireplace! Only thing missing was a freezer but otherwise everything was great! Thank you so much for us!

Really homey and nice apartment with both good beds and down duvets. Well-equipped kitchen and comfortable furniture. Fantastic with jacuzzi in the evenings with lovely views in the sunset. Nina appears to be a polite and thoughtful lady who had decorated for Easter when we arrived at the place. Scenic surroundings where both big and small found tranquility. Thanks for this time!

recommend 100%! right by the ski center (Fidjeland), free access to pool, sauna and reception at the hotel. the building itself is a bit old, but the apartment is very well maintained and matches descripsion/photos. all that was expected.

We stayed in the apartment in week 7 (2025) and there was lots of snow on the cross-country trails. We were super lucky with the weather. Sun, frost and no wind. The lower part of the slalom slope was open so we just got to try it. Fine for beginners. Lovely apartment to live in. Plenty of space and a big couch. We lit the fireplace for the first few days, so it was nice and warm.

I stayed in the cabin for three nights with my two daughters. And it was lovely!! We felt right at home when we entered. When we had a question, Robin responded quickly and very helpful. Despite the bad weather, it was still our top location in Norway!!! The cottage is beautifully located by a lake and the area is fantastic! Partly due to the attentive host, we felt very much at home. Although Norway can't just travel for us, we'd love to come back!

Really nice cosy cabin! Perfect if you are traveling with baby or kids… they have everything! Wish we had longer than a one night stopover!

The place is excellent. We love the fact that the house has a space outside for activities. Definitely a come again place for us.

The house itself was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The surroundings were absolutely stunning, with beautiful nature views that made our time even more special. My family and I highly recommend staying here.

Great place and beaut view from the terrace. Nearby crosscountry tracks, and only 10 min drive to Slottet. Trygve was always responsive on text and answered immediately. All in all a great stay!

We felt very comfortable in the cottage. Good amenities, comfortable beds. Great quiet location, surrounded by wonderful nature, beautiful view of the lake, hiking in the vicinity possible.Torrun was always easily accessible, responded immediately. We highly recommend the cottage.
