Old Forester's Lodge at Lindewitt

Take a vacation on historic grounds. Since about 1848, the old forester's lodge has stood here on the ruins of Lindewitt Castle with its castle moat, of which unfortunately little remains to be seen. Owners included Count Rantzau and General von Blücher and his wife Christina Sophie Countess of Holstein-Holsteinburg. The Lindewitter forest invites you to take long walks or bike rides. The forest house is centrally located between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, on the Danish border.

Cozy semi-detached house with large garden surrounded by fields on the edge of the village. The property is 4 km from the North Sea and 6 km from the next major town of Bredstedt. On one side, the North Sea coast with its dikes and on the other the Stollberg with its forest and heathland. The other half of the house is inhabited by 2 nice North Frisians who are available to answer any questions. Otherwise, 2 dogs, 5 horses and, depending on the season, some sheep live on the property.

Old Canoe Barn

Welcome to our terp in Waygaard on Bottschlotter See. The Old Canoe Hous is a lovingly furnished, open 130 square meter apartment in our thatched-roof barn with a view of the lake, the surrounding meadows and the North Frisian marsh. It is ideal for nature lovers: you can fish, canoe, cycle around the accommodation and watch the flocks of birds that use the lake, which is partly a nature reserve, as a migration and nesting site. The lake is used for windsurfing and wingfoiling.

The Nolde Museum is in the immediate vicinity and Denmark is only 3 km away.
