The owners wanted a family space to share with guests, and have a mix of modern , retro & vintage with panoramic views over the ocean stretching as far as Rame Head ,Looe, Seaton & Downderry. Close to HMS Raleigh &Polhawn Fort. There are 120 steps down to the chalet.

Chy Lowen, a self-contained bungalow with a private sunny garden and patio area, it is situated on a quiet hillside road overlooking Bodmin and close to the historic Bodmin Jail. The beautiful Camel Trail is only a 5 minute walk away. It’s a great location to discover Cornwall; it takes about 30 mins to Rock or Polzeath (North Coast) and the same time for St Austell and Looe (South coast). It is an ideal location for people who are looking to get away from it all, whilst still being within easy reach of major Cornish towns and sitting roughly equidistant between beautiful Cornish north and south coast beaches. The accommodation is a light and airy space with neutral decor, furnished partly with pieces from our travels in Africa.
