Enjoy your stay in the historic property from 1750, which has been restored with great commitment and has received the State Monument Award. I am your hostess with a heart and look forward to great guests, including internationally. As a native Frenchwoman who grew up in the USA, I am of course also trilingual. E-bikes can be charged free of charge in the courtyard. We ourselves ride from time to time by e-bike to France, over a beautiful route with great views.

The vineyards start around the corner and all lead to the nearby hiking area “Pfälzer Wald” with its popular managed huts. The Villa Ludwigshöhe, the Rietburg ruins, which can be reached on a romantic path with the Rietburg cable car, the wildlife sanctuary located there and a panoramic café are just some of the beautiful excursion destinations.

Close enough to participate in the colorful hustle and bustle of the weekly market, cozy wine bars, good restaurants, quiet cafes and the many sights of the city - and yet far enough away to lose yourself in the books of our small antiquarian book selection with a good glass of wine.

Welcome to our holiday apartment in Kandel! 😊 The accommodation can accommodate up to 4 people and is the ideal starting point for hikes, bike rides and excursions to the beautiful southern Palatinate. The train station is about 5-7 minutes' walk. Free parking is available on the property. In addition to two bedrooms & bathrooms, you will find a dining room & a small south-facing balcony overlooking the countryside.

The cozy house (85 m²) is equipped with two bedrooms and suitable for 2-4 people. In the tranquil Hainfeld on the popular German Wine Route is our winery built in 1738. Of course, the house has an authentic winery that invites you to linger outdoors. The lovingly and elaborately renovated house is a wonderful starting point to discover the vineyards in the immediate vicinity or the Palatinate Forest with its multitude of medieval castle ruins.
