The beautiful clay house is located on a small hill, in the immediate vicinity of the village church. The cozy courtyard offers a wine-covered pergola with plenty of space, as well as sunny breakfast spots in the courtyard or in the garden behind the house. But even in the colder season, the house invites you to linger. The house is located on the Saale island of Gottesgnaden. Here the lock keeper lived and worked with his family. Today you can relax here on the 7x4 m terrace, make yourself comfortable in the great kitchen with fireplace, enjoy the river landscape, fishing, standup paddling or chill in the approx. 1000 sqm garden. The house is a single monument and belongs to the lock. The lock is in operation and is maintained and serviced by the Water and Shipping Authority.
