Very nice and quiet apartment in Bergisches Land (Herkenrath), with private entrance. Herkenrath offers a bakery, grocery store, gas station (10-minute walk), and everything else for daily use. The bus stop is a 10-minute walk away. From here you can get to Bergisch Gladbach or Bensberg where you can take the S-Bahn [suburban train]. The train takes about 20 minutes to the exhibition grounds and 30 minutes to Cologne city center. By car to the Cologne trade fair 20-30 min (depending on the time of day). Airport by land about 20 minutes.
