Family-friendly holiday rentals in Bedford

Cathy was a wonderful host and communicated well. The countryside was beautiful, we throughly enjoyed the use of the hot tubs and outdoor areas. I would recommend this place for large groups.

Had a lovely stay in the lodge. Beds comfy, place was clean and luxurious, great to have robes for when utilising the hot tub. Temp of hot tub did unfortunately vary and was cold on first night but soon sorted through instructions from host. Overall a very lovely stay with beautiful views and secluded quiet environment.WiFi a bonus! Lovely touches including bottle of wine, welcome note and folder providing info on local area and places to eat. We enjoyed visiting the foxton locks, the local tearoom and the local market for some lovely fresh produce.

Such a magical weekend, thank you for having us! It was so peaceful and the animals were all so beautiful (even if the alpacas were a bit cheeky) The hottub made a fabulous finish to each evening under the stars. We will definitely be coming again!

The property is tucked away but we found it pretty easily as the instructions were very helpful. The cottage was perfect as a base for us and has some thoughtful touches such as lots of towels, and tea, coffee and other essentials.

The White Cottage hosted by Sally was so beautiful. We had a lovely relaxing break. Felt at home straight away and could relax instantly. The garden and hot tub area was also beautiful. Cannot recommend enough and wish our stay was longer.

We just spent 2 nights at Fred and Charlotte's glamping retreat - and what a weekend! In a peaceful and private location, the accommodation is beautifully clean, well-equipped and was absolutely perfect for our group of 14! Especially loved the hot tub, fire pit area, spacious kitchen/ dining room and the on-site bar! We even had a yoga class in the field alongside the surrounding cows and horses! I would highly recommend to any other large groups looking for somewhere to stay and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Just got home from a lovely, relaxing stay here. Met up with 5 friends who now live all over the country and this was a great, central location. Tom met us as we arrived and showed us how everything worked. House was clean with some quirky lamps, each bedroom had an en-suite plus kettle and cups. The hot tub was a perfect addition. Lost many an hour chatting away while sat in it. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great week in Baldock at Malex's beautiful home! Lots of space and 2.5 modern bathrooms with big tub was nice. Easy train to London and Cambridge with a short walk to/from the station. Plenty of nice town & nature walks around Baldock. Make sure to check out Day's Bakery for fresh-baked pastries and sandwiches. Malex was very kind to meet us on arrival to show us around the property, but respects your privacy and is available only if you need help with anything. WiFi was solid, kitchen well appointed and modern, heating warm in chilly February, comfortable furnishings, laundry in-home if needed. Definitely would stay again and highly recommended as the perfect base for exploring Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. Thank you Malex! Gary

Great stay, had everything we needed

Martin really went above and beyond to make our stay a good one. The property was great for our needs and was very convenient for the Snow Centre. It was perfect!

A beautiful little cottage in a very pretty village. Located just off the village green with the pub in view from the kitchen window. We had a very comfortable stay and had an excellent Sunday lunch in the Pointer.

Really well appointed space with very comfortable bed. Amanda is a friendly and attentive host (and has dogs, so that's a big bonus if you have a dog too - as we did!). Loved the little touches, like the flowers and the pretty butter dish!! Sue, Martin (and Nahla the dog)

We had a great stay at Elen's place. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It was clean, well-equipped, and felt like a home away from home.

Our team loved their stay at Ami's place. Ami is a brilliant host and nothing was too much trouble. there was a problem with the heating and this was sorted within a couple hours of reporting this. The house is spacious , comfy and spotless with plenty of parking. We can recommend Ami and his house we can recommend this house to everyone , sorry not too many as it will be booked up next time we are in the area and the team would be disappointed if they couldn't stay

We had a lovely stay at Jonathan’s place. The cabin is in a quiet and pretty neighbourhood that is only a short drive away from Cambridge. The lodge is cosy and comfortable and equipped with all we needed for a short stay. We enjoyed our exploration of Cambridge and it was lovely to meet and chat with our host Janet. Jonathan had also left a lot of useful information in the guidebook, such as recommendations for food and activities in Cambridge. Thank you both for the great stay!

Patricia's home is lovely, warm and cozy. We booked at the last minute so that our family could spend Christmas together. We appreciated the lovely welcome and provision of staples like milk, butter, tea, coffee, juice and also crusty bread. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a full Christmas dinner with ease. Patricia had even gone to the trouble to decorate her home for Christmas for us, which was very special. We all enjoyed our time together there. It is a bonus to have a full bathroom and an extra toilet for a family, too. The setting in the park is peaceful and welcoming and there are nice walks around the woods and lakes; our dog loved it, too. This is a wonderful place to stay in every way and Patricia is a very thoughtful and accommodating host. Thank you!

We were greeted well upon arrival. They showed and explained everything. We were also lucky to see beautiful peacocks on the territory. The house corresponds to the description and photos. There is a good sauna, a large pool and there is a passage from a small goubina to a large one. The jacuzzi is also large. Everything is clean and neat, we liked it, the child is delighted, we will definitely come again.🙃

What a beautiful and special place! So many lovely little touches and such an interesting building! The surroundings are so pretty, much wildlife and it felt like it had its own Mediterranean micro climate! Sharon & Lulu were great hosts, so helpful and responsive. Really flexible on check in and check out times and provided local recommendations. This included Fords Kitchen, we were lucky enough to have Tom provide dinner one evening. The food was delicious and beautiful, also a complete stress free treat because he knows the venue and hosts! Having a yoga studio on site was a gorgeous addition. Lulu guided us through the most magical private yoga, breath work & sound bath. I very much hope to return! ❤️🥰

Veronica and husband were great when i arrived for check in and then on hand if needed (which was hardly needed) gave me an excellent recommendation for a local walk which was brilliant. accomodation had so much character and was perfect for what we wanted it for.

We stayed in the pool house, fantastic location with a beautiful scenery. Very private and comfortable stay. Welcome book was very informative with places to visit and restaurant in area. I would advise you do a shop before, as local shops are not walking distance. We had four days of quality family time and the pool and hot tub was amazing. Highly recommended, we will be returning.
