Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Balestrate

We had a wonderful time at Umberto's house. It is absolutely quiet in the mountains below Erice. The view of Trapani, the sea and the Egadi Islands is great. The house has several terraces, which we were very happy to use. Amenities were perfect. The property is huge with many retreat options and a beautiful flair. The exchange with Umberto and Chiara, his sister, was very warm. We highly recommend this place. Thank you very much!😍 I almost forgot to mention the peacock that visited us every day.🦚

Marina has set the bar unattainably high for any other AirBnb host! Not only was the house absolutely beautiful, it was clean, organized, perfectly located, and had every amenity you could think of (plus more that you didn't remember!). On top of that, Marina is a gem of a person. I've never been to the same AirBnb twice because we like going to new places, but I really hope to make coming back here an annual tradition! Magnificent. Awesome. Amazing... How else can we describe the most beautiful pool garden we've ever encountered in many, many Airbnb accommodations? You'll love the views, sounds and smells of nature all around the house. Great showers, good beds, nice surroundings, very friendly welcome, easy communication, handy tips and good base for day trips to Palermo and Mondello Beach or Cefalù. If you're reading this review, know that you have just found the ultimate spot in North West Sicily, so don't hesitate to book it. You will not regret it. You'll get a fun, short, bumpy ride from the gate to the house to reach this wonderful house. We wanted to stay forever.

This was by far one of my favorite places i have stayed! The home itself was so much better than the photos but even more was the unbelievable hospitality that we experienced from Maria Francesca and Gaetano. BRAVO to these hosts!! Even though we arrived late they met us and welcomed us in, explaining everything. They came to say goodbye also and were only message away for whatever need we had. If you are ever in Palermo this place is a MUST!! THANK YOU

Andrea was a wonderful host with very flexible check-in/out times. We received plenty of recommendations of activities in the area and the best restaurants to eat. It's a cozy, spacious airbnb with a large garden/orchard and terraces all around to enjoy the sultry evenings and every appliance one could need. We'll definitely be coming back, ciao!

This property is beautiful- incredible pool, very spacious for our large group with en suites and extra bathrooms, and great indoor and outdoor living areas. We had Francesca come and cook for us the night we arrived which was a game changer after a long travel day- incredible food and so relaxing and easy! Antonio is also extremely responsive to all our questions and so kind and friendly. There are some beaches near by that are really nice (10 min away max) and it’s 45 min to either Palermo or Cefalù so relatively easy to get to either.

Alessandro was a super good host! Always answering all our questions quickly and making sure everything was good. Gave good tips as well and was always available during the stay. Super friendly and helpful. The house had an amazing outside area, where we enjoyed the outdoor kitchen with dinners and the pool etc. Trapetto as a town is quite dead but many very beautiful places to visit around and things to do and see. I definitely recommend this villa, the sunset view was also amazing.

We had a great stay! The house is located in a super nice area, we slept well and enjoyed the cozy fireplace in the evenings. The salt water was just not so comfortable and didn't really give a clean feeling to shower with. Furthermore, everything was to your liking and we would definitely recommend staying here!

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at Nicoletta's Airbnb. The apartment was comfortable and well-maintained, and the location was ideal for exploring the area, with easy access to the beach, restaurants, and transport to Palermo. The rooftop terrace and sea views were a definite highlight, providing a relaxing atmosphere after days of sightseeing. The space was bigger than it looked in the photos and there was a community feel in the common areas. Nicoletta and her team were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. When we had a mix-up with our transportation, they were very understanding and went out of their way to ensure we were taken care of and that everything was resolved. This level of support made a big difference and allowed us to truly enjoy our vacation without any added stress. We highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a great stay with excellent hosts.

Such a cute and quiet place to get away from the city just what we needed! Tania was so nice and we were able to hang out in the garden, pick the fig trees, have eggs from her chickens! Just incredible experience!

Ferdinando's place is a niceapartment in the historic center of Palermo. The house has all the necessary services, communication with the co-host Giorgio was super, as was the kindness throughout the stay. We especially appreciated the recommendations. Recommended!

Flavia's place was perfect for our 7 day stay over Easter. Spotlessly clean and had everything that we needed for a wonderful stay. comfy beds. great shower and just enough supply's for a little bit of cooking. so central to everything in Palermo that we had no trouble getting around. Palermo parties over Easter late into the night so earplugs were needed but that is because we went to bed earlier than others 😅 would definitely book this apartment again

The apartment is BEAUTIFUL!! Our family of five, with three teens fit comfortably here. Plenty of space to have our time alone after three weeks of travel, that is needed sometimes. Loved being in the heart of old town Palermo just steps away from bars, food, grocery stores and sites. Totally walkable to a ton of sites. We lived to verandas. The host greeted us, took time to help us get settled, answered questions, we felt very welcomed! It is lively at night, and we didn’t mind hearing people enjoying themselves. Place is more beautiful in person! You won’t regret booking this place. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Five stars are hardly enough! Our stay at Rosario’s place was absolutely wonderful – not just because of the lovely and well-kept accommodation, but especially thanks to Rosario himself. From the very beginning, communication was warm and easy, and upon arrival, Rosario welcomed us with genuine kindness and a wealth of helpful local tips. He showed us places we never would have discovered on our own! For example we ate the best Pizza in our lifes because of his recommendation. What truly stood out was how incredibly attentive and caring he was throughout our stay. We could reach out to him anytime with questions or needs, and he checked in with us every single day to make sure everything was going well. As a special and unexpected gesture, he even drove us to the train station on our departure day – something we deeply appreciated. Rosario is a host with a big heart, and we would return in a heartbeat. Thank you for making our stay special!

We spent a week in October in beautiful sunshine. We loved the personal family nature of this house. Beautiful stylish and creative decor. Idyllic location for privacy with the most gorgeous terrace. We swam off the rocks with snorkels to see some colourful fish. Nearby San Vito lo Cappo was great for food, sandy beach and shops. A perfect holiday!

Very new and nice place. Can fit a lot of people and has a pretty pool and views. We came with 5 people and had lots of space. Great patios and balconies overlooking views and nice seating throughout the house. Easy to get in and out with keys and a nice pizza place just opened up a 2 minute walk from the house. Would recommend staying here. The host also helped find pizza delivery, and a taxi for us when needed.

We had a great time at Maria Elena's place! The house is very nice, the patio and garden are great, the beach can be reached on foot in a few minutes. We really enjoyed Maria Elena's warm welcome, she gave us a lot of tips on nearby activities, restaurants etc. A place to recommend!

A great accommodation in a quiet area near Scopello. Beautiful bays for snorkelling and swimming can be reached quickly by car. There are also very good restaurants with authentic Sicilian cuisine within a few minutes. The accommodation is really good - everything you need is there, it is clean and beautifully furnished. I liked the outdoor area the best. Outdoor shower with warm water, there are also many seating options around the house. The view is fantastic. Daniele is a wonderful host. We felt very comfortable.

We had an amazing time at Giacoma & Carlo’s villa. Everything was as the pictures in the listing and the view of both the mountains and the sea was perfect from the terrace. Giacoma & Carlo was super responsive whenever we had a question and helped make our stay perfect.

Guido and his wife were super friendly and helped us from the beginning when our flight was hours too late. they drove us to the car rental and whatever we needed they responded immediately. The secret excess to the beach was very special and the house perfect for a family. thank you for the time being !!!

We had a super nice stay at Aldo's place. We were 4 people (2 couples) there was enough space so that you could retreat a little in this accommodation. Aldo's dad lives right behind the property and was very attentive and directly on site for all questions and concerns. We will definitely be back! Thank you

Great spot just a stone’s throw from the beach. The villa has everything you need for cooking. Everything worked out great.
