We had a wonderful time at Turid’s cabin. Truly incredible space, comfortable and cozy. Lots of things to do inside and outside the house. We rented one of the boats and had a beautiful couple of days out on the fjord. Turid and Audun also gifted us some very fresh eggs from their farm, were available at all times and helped us with recommendations and any questions we had. We loved it. We will return. A very magical place. 10/10

Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben. Highlight ist die Lage direkt am Fjord mit tollem Ausblick von der Terrasse und den Wohnräumen. Die Sauna mit Ausblick auf den Fjord hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Leider fehlte der Holzsteg zum Schwimmdeck. Wenn man im Fjord baden war, musste man über eine sehr wackelige Leiter auf den Kai klettern.

We loved our stay at Siv's house and would definitely stay there again. The views across the fjord were stunning and the peace and privacy were marvellous. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. It is a great area to explore. We went across as foot passengers on the small car ferry from the village of Solvorn to Urnes to visit the UNESCO Urnes Stavchurch, went on a walk up to Jostedalsbreen Glacier, and there are some fantastic mountain hikes close by.

Definetely recommend if you are looking for a peaceful and immersive experience into the Norwegian culture and fjords, outside touristic areas. The house is lovely and Guro welcomed us very kindly. Kitchen is well equipped and the living room is big. Preferably stay at least 2 or 3 nights to enjoy the place.

Le logement est top, vue magnifique sur le fjord, très confortable et propre. Notre seul bémol est que nous avons eu les chambres d'enfants plutôt que les chambres d'adultes pour dormir. Merci Henriette pour votre accueil

We feel so lucky to have found this beautiful farmhouse in our visit the Hafslo/Gaupne area! The house provides spectacular views of the fjord, with the epic Feigumfossen waterfall off in the distance, which makes the whole scene feel magical. We were blessed by warm and sunny weather, which certainly enhanced the experience. The house itself is modern and updated, with large photos of local scenes hung throughout the house. A host-provided guidebook has commentary on each photo, with recommendations on how to visit those places! We did the 6 mile easy-to moderate Austersdalbreen glacier hike, which I highly recommend! What made this location particularly special is that the area has the original homestead/farm of my Norwegian ancestry. When I mentioned this to Hege ahead of time, she took the extra time to research our family heritage and then she and her husband Oystein took us to the church and farm used by my family. It was so special and appreciated! Tusen takk!!

A wonderful location and a cozy spot. We enjoyed the proximity to the center on Balestrand, and the amenities of the house, including the use of kayaks to use on the fjord. Splendid accommodations.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sverre’s place. He made us feel right at home. He welcomed us, took the time to show us around and made our stay wonderful. They were so kind , and we loved getting to know them. The home and farm were very charming and had truly amazing views! It comfortably fit our family of seven. We wished we could stay for a week. We hope to come again!

Eu voltarei em inverno com certeza, o lugar é incrível e está bem localizado e em um lugar de contos, tem uma vista incrível para o lago e a privacidade e comodidade que supera os outros alojamentos que provamos, e por incrível que pareça tem o melhor preço da região. A nicely decorated apartment with a great view. We enjoyed sauna and pool- it was very clean and water temperature was comfortably warm. We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed sauna in both evenings. The apartment was quiet. When opening balcony, there's some sound from traffic, but with the door closed you don't hear anything. Beds are super-comfortable! There's an oven- we baked a pizza and it worked perfectly! Washing machine is available, but it's said to be outside the apartment in a separate laundry room. Overall, the apartment is very compact. It might feel too small for a longer stay, but as for our stay of 2 nights (4 adults), it fitted all our needs!

Tout était parfait ! Instruction claire et détaillé, hôte réactif. Logement adaptés pour 5 personnes, très bien équipée !

Een hele gezellige, goed verzorgde hut op een prachtige plek. Mooi uitzicht over het meer, dichtbij Voss, wandelen mogelijk vanuit de hut. Wij waren er met Oud&Nieuw en werden getrakteerd op een dik pak sneeuw. De houtkachel en overige verwarming zorgden voor comfort! Communicatie met de host was supergoed. Voorzieningen zijn prima verzorgd: een verwarmde badkamer en een extra buitentoilet, een mooi terras met vuurschaal, alles passend bij Noors buitenleven! Als klap op de vuurpijl het Noorderlicht gezien.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé les 5 nuits que nous avons passé chez Kristin et sa famille. L'endroit est charmant, c'est une petite maison de campagne à l'ancienne sur les bords d'un lac, et il y a pas mal de randonnées à faire dans les parages (trouvées sur le site ut point no). Kristin a pris le temps avec son mari et ses enfants de nous emmener nourrir les alpagas et les chèvres et de répondre à mes nombreuses questions sur son élevage, c'était un moment très intéressant et les animaux sont très mignons. La maison est équipée de tout le nécessaire et même plus ; on a même pu se faire des gaufres dans un gaufrier électrique :D Enfin, nous sommes très reconnaissants qu'elle nous aie fait confiance pour venir avec notre chien sur sa ferme, alors que cela pourrait être stressant pour ses animaux. Séjour authentique recommandé à 100%

Johnny was a great host, you felt like nothing was too much trouble. The cosy cabin overlooked a stunning lake and Mountain View. Toasty warm and super shower.

The location and the accommodation were great! We were 2 people so we stayed in the annex, which is different than the main bigger accommodation. The view was fantastic and the space was great! Well equipped kitchen and quite spacious!

Vi hadde et kjempefint opphold, nydelige omgivelser og veldig godt vertskap ! Anbefales !

Jättefin hytte vid Sogndal skicenter. Vi bodde där pga arbete och det fungerade helt perfekt. Fantastisk utsikt över fjället.

We had a wonderful stay at Jarand’s cabin! The location is incredible and the cabin had stunning views. We enjoyed going for a hike in the area and going for a cool down in the stream. The cabin had everything we needed, including things to make coffee and easy meals. We were a bit worried about finding it, but Jarand gave helpful directions. If you follow Google maps to the coordinates, you’ll find where you should park easily and then have a short but steep hike up a clearly marked path. It was wonderful to disconnect for a few days and we have already recommended Jarand’s place to a few friends!

Wir waren 3 Nächte in dieser Hütte. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Alles perfekt…wir kommen wieder.

We had the most wonderful stay at Ulrik and Suzanne’s beautiful house by the lake. It was warm, peaceful, cosy and full of history. Everything we needed was available in the house, and Ulrik and Susanne went out of their way to give us suggestions and advice for hikes and local places of interest. We visited some fantastic historical places that were easy to get to by car with stunning views on the way. The best view of all was the lake from the windows of the house. Taking the boat out on the lake was an adventure! Thank you Ulrik and Susanne for a very special holiday.
