Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Azumino

The host is a 5-star superhost. First, the apartment is super clean and well stocked. Host was thoughtful as when we check-in, the air-condition was already turned on and so was the aroma scent machine, making son feel so welcomed. The host also left snacks, milk and drinks for is in the fridge and even gave me a birthday cake, knowing it was my birthday. Such thoughtful host. They also left is tea and sweet potato snack at out door on our check out day and we will not hesitate to book this place again if we return to Karuizawa in winter. Definitely a good find and a good recommendation. Place was easy to find with google map and is within close proximity to many places and good food - we drive and parking just infront of the house is super convenient.

We loved this Airbnb. It was definitely a favorite. It is actually set up as a super cool hostel, but our family of four had the place to ourselves. It is very big with multiple rooms and sleeping options, including one with bunk beds that my kids enjoyed. There is also a an area for kids that had big rolling toys that the kids also enjoyed. Everything is labeled clearly and anything that you might need is provided, including bikes! The host is also kind and responsive. I hope that you get the chance to stay here. It is definitely highly recommended!

I had a very comfortable night. The accommodation was a small Japanese-style villa, spacious, bright, and very clean.The facilities are also very complete, and everything you need for daily life is available. The kind owner told us about some delicious restaurants nearby, and we enjoyed our meals. I think this price is really cost-effective for this quality. I would love to stay here again if I get the chance!

Stefano’s place was clean, comfortable and functional. It is quiet, peaceful and has everything we needed. It was nice to wake up to views of rice fields and mountains. We like the bath tub that we could soak in after all the long hikes. The washer and dryer machine was very useful and convenient. Most of all, Stefano and his wife were so hospitable and helpful. My daughter was having some chest tightness at night and I was worried about finding medical help in the rural area. But both Stefano and his wife came down to our room to help us. Very grateful to have locals to give us advice in time of need. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Komagane. The ropeway is definitely a must-go, which is a convenient short drive from this airbnb.

If you are traveling by car, it is a good location with good access to anywhere from Kamikochi to Matsumoto to Azumino to Hakuba. Also, the surrounding scenery was very good. Nagano Prefecture - It seems to be ideal for a trip to Shinshu.

It is in an excellent location, close to the highway interchange and Matsumoto Station.The accommodation was clean and comfortable.It is especially luxurious to be able to use the sauna and water bath freely.Children can enjoy it as if they were playing on an athletic field.BBQ is also available as an option.The host responded quickly and I was able to arrive at the accommodation without stress.At check-in, they greeted us directly and guided us to the accommodation, and they introduced us to nearby shops, which was helpful.My family was very satisfied and it was a good trip.

It was very comfortable and I felt at home.The interior is clean and well equipped.There is a supermarket and a convenience store nearby.The high-speed interchange is also close, but I didn't have to worry about the sound. The person who supported us was also very kind and we had a comfortable vacation.

Great location, a few minutes walk from the restaurants/bars in town & from the lower chair lift. Above the cafe is super convenient for breakfast or food. Everyone was very helpful throughout our stay, would definitely be back!

We had a great stay at Mikkun’s Airbnb. It was clean, well-maintained, and spacious enough for our family of three—could easily fit four. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the clear instructions for appliances and Wi-Fi were very helpful. There’s a large bed and a sofa-cum-bed our daughter used comfortably. The location is lively and walkable, with easy access to the station and plenty of places to eat nearby. A few things to note: the apartment is on the 4th floor with no elevator, so carrying heavy luggage was a bit challenging. Also, there's a karaoke bar on the 2nd floor, which can be a bit noisy at night—but earplugs are thoughtfully provided. Mikkun was a kind and responsive host. Highly recommended!

Hanko Inn was just as described and had all the amenities we required. Whilst it is a modest accommodation, the stand out is its location. It really is 3 minutes walk to the wonderful Matsumoto Castle. Similarly, in the opposite direction is a 1 minute walk to a beautiful shrine which leads to two terrific streets with cafes and places of interest. The station is less than 15 min away and quicker taking a local bus. The hosts were great communicators, very clear directions and very responsive.

Very nice place to stay for one night. About 40m away from Karuizawa, can check in at anytime and quite spacious.

Such an awesome spot to stay in Hakuba! The place itself is amazing; super clean, BIG, amazing views up the mountain and easily walkable to Happo and local restaurants. The team were awesome and communication was fantastic. Pick ups and drop offs were easy to organise and everyone was so lovely. Will 100% come and stay here again! Highly recommend.

Loved the location, right under the Takashima castle. Having access to bikes was also a huge plus for touring the Suwa Lake. Thank you! :)

You'll find almost everything you'll need for your stay. There was also a bathrobe, but it was very helpful that there were T-shirts and shorts for the number of people. Thanks to you, I was able to relax. On the other hand, I had a little trouble with the tea towel. We borrowed tableware, but there was no drain basket or tea towel, so we used a towel instead. Also, the bath water is not the type that can be set to a temperature, so the children were a little confused. Overall, I am very grateful for the host's thoughtfulness, such as the speed of response when sending messages and the air conditioning before entering the room to keep the room cool.

Was so impressed with our accommodation it was perfect, with great location, beautiful views, and it accommodated all our needs. would definitely come back here to stay and would highly recommend.

The cabin was a little secluded with small roads. But very beautiful surroundings and still near the main attractions. Great privacy and very well appointed accommodation. Highly recommend!

I could not recommend Villa Monochrome enough! Yasue was so helpful the whole time of our stay, she picked us up and dropped us off at the bus terminal for arrival and departure and even drove us to get groceries. She was helpful during our stay and really made us feel at home. The accommodation was beautiful and well equipped and the location is fantastic for snowsports at Happo One. Will definitely be staying again! Special mention for the Kotatsu (heated) table. That was such a lovely treat after a day on the mountain. 10/10 for Villa Monochrome.

The warmth of the host is amazing. If there were any problems, we were very responsive to any issues that were met with immediate response. I usually visit villas and cottages across the country as a hobby. With this quality, I don't think this price can be a good idea. +4500 yen to use the BBQ empty-handed +2500 yen to enjoy the firewood However, you can also bring a nearby home center or bring it with you. The BBQ set is free, so if you bring charcoal and ingredients, you can do it right away without an optional fee. It has a large semi open-air bath. Four adults can enter.It was beautiful. The finished house is also perfectly written in English. I think this place is going to be popular soon I think it will fill the reservation if you put it in Jalan or Ichiku (it may be unnecessary, but it may be unnecessary) Thank you for being such a great response

My kid and I had a great 4-night stay at the corner house. The location is perfect, peaceful yet close to restaurants, stores, and onsens. The well-stocked kitchen made meal prep a joy. It truly made our visit to Nozawaonsen extra special, a real gem!
