Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Azuay

This is our new favorite place to stay in Cuenca. It is on the edge of El Centro, which makes it close to all the activity while it is still on a relatively quiet street. There is Free street parking as well as a parking lot just around the corner that charges five dollars per night. The suite is really designed for just two people. The bed is fairly comfortable, there is a nice TV, and the shower is excellent. The kitchen is nicely equipped, although there is no coffee maker. It is nice having push button access to the suite, no keys to worry about. Be sure to check out the modern art museum just across the street, and consider eating at El Pedregal and Sabatino's. We originally came for 2 nights, but then stayed for 4 nights! From the beginning Mercedes communicated perfectly. Hospitable, proactive. everything properly described. Very polite. We took a taxi for $2 from the Bus Terminal. Very easy. We were welcomed warmly by Mariana who showed us the house. The House was overwhelmingly beautiful. It reminded my mother of England in the 1960s. Spacious. Beautifully maintained. Everything that we could have needed, and more, was there. We generally walk a lot and explored the areas around. SigSig is hilly. Pretty steep up and down. But taxis are easily available and very cheap should one want them. At Mercedes's recommendation, we went sightseeing too and enjoyed. I tend to look for value and I say this house was excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

A magical place just outside Cuenca. Jhon was there for us the whole time. I recommend this place if you want a place in the middle of nature.

Beautiful estate, very well maintained, perfect for resting. Central, very close to Cuenca, but at the same time sufficiently secluded, projecting tranquility and peace. Its amenities are inviting for a better rest. Our young adults enjoyed the tennis court, basketball and board games. At the end of the day, relaxing by the fireplace was one of the best moments... We recommend this Quinta 100%.

It's the same as in the photos, Juan is very proactive and very friendly. Their directions are accurate.

Spectacular; a rushing river lulls you, and an inviting park extends along the shores. Big trees, green grass and flowering bushes. A bike path runs along the narrow stone-paved lane, popular with local bicycle folk, joggers and dog walkers. Beyond the river is city view and the green mountains. Taxis come along often. If not, it's about 100 yards to a busy street. Restaurants are outside the building, and many more very good restaurants, art galleries and artisan handcraft stores within walking distance. The apartment is spacious, impeccably clean, and quite comfortable, with each room opening to the wide balcony over the river. The kitchen is well equipped. Likewise the bathrooms. Good linens with plenty of towels and variety of pillows, and comfortable beds. I give it top recommendation. The host writes good detailed English. We love Cuenca; clean, friendly, old architecture and churches beautifully kept, and safe streets. We felt a lot of civic pride, and strangers say hello.

We had a great stay at this apartment! It was clean, cozy, and just as described. The location was excellent, very close to the historic city center and right next to the University of Cuenca, with lots of cute cafés and local food spots nearby. Juan was very responsive and quickly helped us when we had a minor shower leak. Just a friendly note: if you rely on Wi-Fi for remote work, the connection can be a bit unstable for calls or large downloads, but it’s fine for basic use. Would definitely recommend!

Very comfortable apartment, accessible location but not so close to downtown as to walk, very organized, clean and pleasant. I would definitely come back and recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. The room was comfortable and clean. The neighborhood was nice and walkable with access to the river path just a few blocks away. The bathroom was definitely small, but overall nice. Some of the neighbors and their dogs were a bit noisy, but there's nothing the host can do about that. It didn't really bother me much. Just something to be aware of. I would happily stay here again.

We loved the apartment so much that we drove back to stay there another night. Rooftop is beautiful and you can't beat the views. The club next door is LOUD and disrupts sleep on weekend but luckily, we traveled with fans and ear plugs. Also not easy to control temperature in apartment but many extra blankets were provided that were clean, new and comfortable.

The place is exactly as described. Our host Bèlen was always available and accommodating. The terrace is amazing, wished it had been on the same floor as the kitchen, but you can’t beat the views! Plenty of places within walking distance as well. Grocers, restaurants, pharmacies, you name it. The security guard was very nice and helpful with all our questions! Thank you!

The place seemed super quiet, there are pharmacies, food places very close even if I don't buy anything close to the property I found it super good to take it into consideration, recommended !!

Our fourth stay here! It is a perfect place in Cuenca! Paola is the best host!

Everything was fine with the place, the hosts quite friendly but there was a strong smell of humidity, the duvet and small pillows were dirty, just like the bathroom sink, I had to take pictures because in the house rules there are quite a lot of noise from the neighbors and the outside.

Aaron’s place is not only beautiful and quaint. The location is ideal for local restaurants and steps to dt. But I’m also very impressed with the communication with Aaron and Alla. They did their best to accommodate my parents and were in touch with me promptly. I highly recommend their place and will definitely be visiting again.

I enjoyed my monthly stay at Bamboo Sierra. It’s a beautiful and nicely decorated apartment. The glass walls let in lots of light and peacefulness. Nice neighborhood with a few restaurants and a basic little store down the street. Also a river nearby great for walks. I did have some plumbing issues while I was there that took a while to fix, but eventually got resolved. Valeria is very friendly and attentive to guests needs. Great stay in Cuenca.

I had a great stay at this Airbnb. The space was small but comfortable and had all the essential amenities I needed. The area felt safe, and having parking available was a huge plus. The beds were very comfortable, making for a restful stay. The host was responsive and helpful at all times, which made the experience smooth and stress-free. Would definitely recommend for a short and convenient stay!
