Holiday rentals with a patio in Avis

warm welcome, I got a larger room that was free with lots of light and a large terrace. It is very quiet and private, in the vicinity of Filipa and her husband who were always ready and gave great service. Recommended!

This location is perfect if you want to drive and spend a few days exploring the Alentejo. Multiple towns are nearby. Evora is a great all day trip, including the megaliths outside of town, and you get to leave all the guided groups behind. Elvas is a wonderful town very near the border with Spain. Villa Real is a gem. Arraiolos is known for weaving rugs. Evoramonte is close by and has terrific views. All of these towns are hilltop towns with castles. The regional wine is terrific, the cork industry is fascinating, the olives, oranges, and lemons, are great, and you are in the middle of the area of marble quarrying. The towns are predominantly full of white buildings with mustard or blue trim and lot and lots of marble. Fica’s place is comfortable, quiet, and has restaurants, bakeries, drugstores, and small shops just steps away.

Good attention from the first hour with the host, the accommodation is totally as described in the listing, fully equipped and renovated, the only thing for people with mobility problems would not be recommended since it is located on a second floor without an elevator, otherwise highly recommended.

We stayed in the “wall”. It is a small but spectacular house, inside one of the most quiet and secluded areas of the castle. It has a walled courtyard, which for us was an added value since we also took our bige. In fact, ALs that accept animals are always to be congratulated because they suffer from the scarcity. The house is in an area where it is difficult to go by car (although it is possible but the streets are too narrow) and Mr Luís was very helpful to take us (to us, to our bags and to our dog) to the house at check in, which was a great help. Even so, walking access is fast. We recommend it.

The landlords living upstairs were extraordinarily nice and helpful. Lots of helpful tips and in the morning even fresh buns were delivered by the baker.

We spent a really enjoyable time in this property! The space was not only comfortable and clean but turned out to be great for children as well. The kids enjoyed discovering the place and having fun with the amenities, and we enjoyed watching them having so much joy. I would definitely recommend this place to families who want to unwind and spend quality time!

The homestead is truly an ex-libris from the Marvão region. Those who seek tranquility with all comfort and wrapped in the magic of the climate of the Serra do Alentejo, here you can enjoy an unparalleled peace. The house is super comfortable, well equipped and with all the requirements met to spend a few days with family or friends. The very spacious bedrooms all with well-equipped living room and kitchen, an unobstructed outdoor space with plenty of shade, and a generous pool always useful on hot days. All this in the middle of many fruit trees and with the mountains serving as a postcard. With regard to the hostess, Inês, was always very kind, worried that we would feel at home and always ready to help with any questions. Definitely an experience to repeat.

Space even more charming than the photos show and with plenty of outdoor space. Communication with the host was excellent and always available to help. House very clean and with lots of kitchenware. Ideal space to relax and enjoy the scenery. Nothing to point out negative. I recommend it to 100%

It was a brief 3-night stay with two children and we all loved the house. The cleaning was obvious, the storage idem and we felt something that is not customary outside of our space that is to feel at home. The well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room and a terrace that we did not enjoy due to bad weather but to keep in mind. In short, we advised and would definitely return.

What a peaceful and lovely place. I was greeted by the hosts upon arrival and got a tour of the property, including meeting the friendly animals. Then I got to take a fresh salad right from the garden! In the morning, there were sheep accompanying me up the driveway, and the night skies were great for stargazing. If you’re looking to get away from it all with formidable hosts, kill no further.

The house of Catia is amazing! Everything was perfect! Catia was always available for us. We will surely come back if we have the opportunity!

Tina’s place is a gem and so is Tina. She was super friendly and welcoming. The apartment is well equipped and the pool and surroundings are delightful. The bed is comfortable and on a platform accessed by a steep staircase. The town of Estremoz is fascinating with the biggest town square. We found an exceptional, if pricey restaurant. We would stay at Tina’s place again.

STRONGLY RECOMMEND I highly recommend this lovely and charming place. A true gem in Alentejo, surrounded by nature. Clean and spacious space on the inside and large garden, bbq space and terrace outside. The lovely neighbors would make your experience even better with their knowledge, availability and care. The host, Elsa, is very helpful and attentive in communication and making sure you relax and enjoy your stay. Among the best experiences I’ve had with Airbnb.
