The Mount belonged to the old Order of the Templars and later to the Religious Order of Avis. Being for generations in the same family, its small houses, previously inhabited by Herdade workers, have been remodeled for those who want to enjoy life in the countryside as if they were in their own home.

It can accommodate up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms (2 double bedrooms and 1 bedroom with 4 single beds). It has a versatile social space, with a small patio ideal for summer breakfasts and a typical Alentejo fireplace for winter evenings.
